Diddy has announced the arrival of a new baby, Love Sean Combs.

The music mogul — real name Sean Combs — made the declaration on social media Saturday, December 10, that he had welcomed a child — a girl — into the Combs family. Although he avoided revealing who the baby girl's mother is or if he is her father or grandfather, social media users had a field day trolling him.

The news of Love's arrival comes a few months after Diddy confirmed his romantic relationship with City Girls rapper Yung Miami. However, it is hard to pinpoint Miami — real name is Caresha Brownlee — as the tot's mother because she has not appeared to have a baby bump in any recent social media posts.

The couple has also clarified —on multiple occasions— that they are not exclusively seeing each other. Thus, when the "I Need a Girl" hitmaker tweeted the news of his baby's arrival, it was met with confusion and some good-natured banter. He had written:

"I'm so blessed to welcome my baby girl Love Sean Combs to the world. Mama Combs, Quincy, Justin, Christian, Chance, D'Lila, Jessie, and myself all love you so much! God is the Greatest!"

"Y'all remember when she unfollowed him last month then he did this...? That musta been him breaking the news to her," one person tweeted along with a picture of Miami posing in a room full of red roses.

Another person posted a 27-second fight scene from the reality TV series, "One Born Every Minute," adding, "Me if I was Caresha & went up to the hospital." A third person uploaded a clip of Kandi Burruss telling an interviewer, "That ain't got nothin' to do with me," along with the caption, "Caresha right now."

That Kandi video prompted a fourth Twitter user to respond, "EXACTLY!!! People think Caresha really give a damn about who else that man sleep with. The problem with the older generation of women is that they really tied their self-worth into what a man did or did not do! Caresha is PERFECTLY okay with being the MAIN Side-Chick."

A fifth observer claimed Diddy was "trying to catch up with Nick," and a sixth dropped a pic of Nick Cannon in an all-white outfit with a head wrap, writing, "Nick Cannon and his turban somewhere feeling 1-upped!"

Another befuddled fan pointed out, "The audacity of 2022 continues. Others shared confused-looking memes and gifs of celebrities like Beyoncé, Nene Leakes, Issa Rae, Keke Palmer, SZA, and Tyler James Williams.

Regardless of outsiders' opinions on his relationship with Miami, Diddy has always made it clear how he feels about her.  When the father-of-six appeared on the Breakfast Club, he gushed:

"She's one of my best friends. I'm so blessed to have met this human being. Just the way she makes me laugh. The way she rides with me, and support without it having to be 'ah this is my girl or this is this situation.' She's like a real friend and you don't find best friends later on in life. So she's one of my best friends, and that's really the definition for it."

Diddy's side as a family man shone through in October when he posted an of himself grinning with his twin daughters — D'Lila Star and Jessie James Combs — rocking their pom poms, dance clothes, and flowers. The Blast noted that the since-deleted post, which also included their brother, Quincy Taylor Brown, in a purple outfit, was partly captioned:

"So proud of my girls on their homecoming performance! The proudest dad in the world."

The 53-year-old then recalled when his baby girls were six-year-olds who could not "catch the rhythm," making him nervous about their ability to "bop." However, that soon changed when he and his family became nonchalant about the routine.

As it turned out, the record producer earned his "proud dad" moment when Jessie and D'Lila "slayed" with their performance. The rapper also claimed at the end of the post that he knew "they made their mother proud."

Diddy shares Jessie and D'Lila with his late girlfriend, Kim Porter, who died on November 15, 2018.
