Denise Richards' Husband Aaron Phypers To Stand In During Love Scenes Tapings On ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Denise Richards will be welcoming her controversial husband, Aaron Phypers, to production on "The Bold and the Beautiful."
According to a new report, Aaron, who Denise married in September 2018 in Malibu, California, will be standing in during the taping of love scenes for the long-running soap opera alongside Denise, who plays Shauna Fulton on the series.
As some may have seen, Denise shared the news during a virtual appearance on "The Talk @ Home" earlier this week.
“Every week we’re tested [for COVID-19],” Denise said on the show, according to a July 7 report from Hollywood Life. “If there are more than two actors, we have mannequins. If there is an intimate scene, they’ve asked us if our significant other can step in for that person. Otherwise, we’ll be doing a love scene with a doll.”
While Denise could have used a doll during her intimate scenes, she decided to instead select the option of having her hubby join her in front of the cameras.
During his time on set, Aaron will be playing Denise's character's love interest, Ridge Forrester, who is typically played by actor Thorsten Kaye.
“He is standing in. And, he came with me today [July 7],” Denise said, noting that Aaron had undergone a COVID-19 test on the day of her interview on "The Talk." “Every week the whole cast [is tested]. He starts standing in next week.”
Denise married Aaron nearly two years ago and their ceremony aired months later on an episode of the ninth season of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
According to Denise, she's “excited” to get back to filming on "The Bold and the Beautiful," which she initially joined back in April.
“I think it’s important for us to also be safe, but to move forward,” Denise continued, noting that her Executive Producer, Brad Bell “has implemented a very safe environment, I feel, for all of us, so I think it’s important.”
Also during her appearance, Denise addressed the swirling rumors regarding her alleged hookups with "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" cast mate Brandi Glanville.
After the ongoing rumors regarding her supposed affair with Brandi were mentioned by the hosts of "The Talk," Denise said that when it came to her thoughts on the situation, she looks forward to the drama playing out on the show.
“I love for things to play out on television instead of social media,” she explained.
