Johnny Depp claims his ex-wife is a 'calculating' and 'sociopathic' narcissist, who came into his life and destroyed it...this according to witness statements filed as part of the trial in the actor's case against a UK tabloid.
According to multiple reports, Johnny Depp's witness statement was filed ahead of today's testimony where the 'Pirates Of The Caribbean' actor took the stand to outline the relationship between him and ex-wife Amber Heard.
In the statement, Depp said Ms. Heard was "calculating", "sociopathic" and "a narcissist". He also claimed, "I am now convinced that she came into my life to take from me anything worth taking, and then destroy what remained of it."

In his testimony, Johnn Depp described in detail the couple's attempt at marriage counseling but says the counselor confirmed to him she had a "borderline, toxic narcissistic personality disorder and is a sociopath."
As we reported, Depp took the stand this afternoon and defended himself against claims he had been abusive towards Heard. The actor claimed he decided to end the couple's marriage after she allegedly pooped in their bed, and passed it off as a 'harmless prank.'
Depp also outlined several incidents where he claimed Amber was the aggressive and abusive one in their relationship, accusing her of repeatedly punching him in the face and severing his finger in a violent rage after throwing a vodka bottle at him.

As we reported, Depp was hospitalized at the time, and photos were taken of his injuries.
In opening statements, Johnny Depp's attorneys claim the article written about him by the UK tabloid accusing him of "inflicting such serious injuries that she feared for her life".
They continued, "The articles amount to a full-scale attack on the claimant as a 'wife beater', guilty of the most horrendous physical abuse."
But, he said in court that Ms Heard's allegations are "complete lies." Adding, "The claimant was not violent towards Ms. Heard, it was she who was violent to him."

During the court hearing, the media outlet's lawyers cross-examined Depp and said he "regularly engaged in destructive and violent behavior."
At one point, the court was shown a video recorded by Ms. Heard without Mr. Depp's knowledge, where he could be seen pacing around a room, cussing and 'kicking a cabinet.'
The lawyer asked Depp if he would agree he was violent in the clip, to which he replied, "I was violent with some cupboards." Adding, "Clearly, I wasn't in the best state of mind."
Johnny's testimony has just ended and brought a close to an explosive first day of court proceedings in a trial that is expected to last three weeks.
In the coming days, witnesses including Johnny's ex-wife Vanessa Paradis and actress Winona Ryder are expected to give testimony via video link.
