Porsha Williams' Instagram literally exploded on Monday – over 430 comments have now been left to a fan telling the 39-year-old she'd be "unfollowing" her. Porsha's update yesterday came ahead of the July 7 Blackout Day seeing black Americans pause their shopping habits to support Black Lives Matter. The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star's post wasn't anything unusual – just a dark square offering #BlackoutDay2020 info – but the comments section now sees a woman, possibly of Middle Eastern race or descent, slamming Porsha, and Instagram was not happy.

Porsha's post, seen below, honored the July 7 call to action and "day of solidarity in America where not one black person in America spends a dollar" outside of black-owned businesses, per the movement's official website. Porsha, herself a business owner, added an empowering fist emoji with dark skin to caption her post.
Over 16,000 likes and a wave of supportive comments might have given Porsha the thumbs-up, but a remark shooting to the top of the comments section now sees the update taking a very ugly turn.

Over 110 likes were left as a woman appearing to be named Mahsa Shamsa wrote: "Enough! I'm following you!" Whether or not she was being sarcastic wasn't clarified, but Porsha's 5.7 million followers did not appear to think it was a joke. "Wait .... you mad ??? ??Porsha is black first .... why you mad ???? ??♀️," one fan replied. Meanwhile, another wrote: "who are you? No one. Bye ?"
Others, meanwhile, appeared to smell resentment – the woman's bio does not, however, indicate that she's a business owner. "She’s aggy because whatever she sells won’t get bought today ???," a fan wrote.

Porsha did not ignore the comment. She sent the fan a simple alien emoji. Those comments just kept on coming, though. "Ok Karen ?," a user wrote, with another saying:"Damnn y'all even mad when one is black in their own space ? your one follow means absolutely NOTHING."
Interestingly, Porsha also faced backlash from a fan – appearing popular – who questioned the real benefit of Blackout Day. June 2nd's #BlackoutTuesday was, of course, famously slammed for being useless by stars including model Emily Ratajkowski and rapper Lil Nas X.

Over 360 users liked a comment reading: "This will make no impact and no difference because it’s not defined or setup to actually make a change. One day? For what? For everyone to just go back the next day and do business as usual. The Montgomery Bus Boycott lasted One year, December 5 1955 - December 20 1956. That’s why it was effective and it sparked change."
Porsha has made headlines amid Black Lives Matter for revealing she was chased and thrown rocks at by the KKK as a child.
