Ryan Reynolds Posts Public Apology For Pregnant Wife, Blake Lively!

Ryan Reynolds dotes on his wife, three daughters, and his unborn child, who he hopes, is another girl. So it's not surprising that Reynolds took to Instagram stories to apologize to his pregnant wife, Blake Lively for hurting her, it's just astonishing that he did hurt her, in the first place!

With Christmas around the corner, what did Ryan Reynolds do that upset his lovely wife? Especially as he just won the 2022 Icon at the People's Choice Awards...

Just like last Christmas, sorry George Michaels, Ryan Reynolds wore his awful Christmas gift of a sweater again, to help the Sick Kids foundation. This time, the twist was not the bow but the fact that his sweater had enough of his cliched "pop-culture reference" and fought back, by speaking, and that too in Seth Rogen's voice!

Reynolds caption thanked all people involved, including his fashion, writing, "This fashion makes a statement. Help us help Sick Kids. GIANT thanks to the legend… the one and only Seth Rogen for the assist. Also, hats off to the great Auston Matthews who always shows up for sick kids."

Fans were bowled over by the gesture, and of course, the humor, showing their appreciation with comments like:

"Do you sleep? ?Where do you come up with this? You crack me every day!! Thank you!!"

"Seth as the sweater omg"

Plus, someone remembered to add in a Shania Twain snub!

"So you’re wearing a Christmas sweater? That don’t impress me much."

Reynolds just won the People's Choice 2022 Icon Award and seemed rather touched by it all, though in typical Reynold's charm, he started his acceptance speech with a joke, quipping, "I feel like I’m at my funeral except I get to leave. I guess I finally tested positive for ‘icon,’ I’ve been avoiding it for years but here we are."

He then thanked his work family and moved on to his mother, three brothers, and his late father, who he said would have been thrilled to see his granddaughters. Then it was time to pay homage to his wife, Blake Lively, and before thanking her, he admitted that in case she went into labor while he was receiving the award, he'd be in the doghouse.

In the sweetest emo tribute, Reynolds then said, in all seriousness, "Blake and my girls, you are quite literally my heart. You are my hope, you are my happiness. I joke that my family exhausts me, but in reality, you give me more strength than any man could possibly deserve."

Plus, he seemed to have paired his rather dapped Thom Brown attire with some kidd-emade bracelets which his daughters might have made for him. Given that fans were swimming in all the sweetness, what could he have done to "hurt" Lively?

In a recent post, the Lively-Reynolds went all the way to the North Pole to meet with Mrs. and Mr. Claus, as he wrote, "We met Jessica Claus and her husband on the Polar Express. She was everything I’d always dreamed of since I was a kid. She smelled like cinnamon buns and sangria."

To this, the emphatic statement that Lively made was, "My. Shoes", followed by an eye-roll emoji.

And if you do look carefully at the otherwise sweet picture, you can see, Lively's shoes have been cropped off, and Lively also followed up her comment with another snide comment, "but the good news is you do have ample ceiling."

Fans were all for Lively, writing:

"What kind of monster crops out a woman’s shoe?"

"Shoes > Ceiling. Always. Gotta get the whole fit in! When will husbands learn?!"

"You carry the babies, the least he can do is make sure the shoes are in the frame ?‍♀️??get it together!"

With so many comments aimed at his head, Reynolds took to IG stories to clarify the matter and admit that his aforementioned head probably needed an examination and that he was sorry for hurting anybody's feelings with his "callous lack of fortitude" considering he "cropped my wife's shoes in the photo I posted" and that it was inexcusable."
