Kim Kardashian Slammed For Not Attending WIE Awards, Throws Team Under The Bus

Kim Kardashian missed the Women in Entertainment award, and while Seth Rogen slammed her, she might have a good reason for being absent.

The reality megastar was noticeably absent at the yearly event. Hosts Seth Rogan and Chelsea Handler took a few jabs at her busy schedule, but it seems Kardashian had a real reason to miss the event; her team messed up the date.

According to TMZ, the “wrong event date was given to Kim's team several weeks ago” which led to a scheduling conflict. By the time it was fixed, the busy celeb was already booked up. “The error was realized only on Monday and unfortunately, her schedule could not be moved around at the last minute due to a prior work commitment.”

Kim really wanted to be there. “She was incredibly disappointed to not be able to attend since she never cancels.”

The comedian got up on stage and clowned Kardashian for her absence. “Are we going to talk about how Kim Kardashian didn't show up?” he said on stage. “I have seen every episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians I know she doesn't have anything more important to do than this,” he insists.

“I've seen 100,000 hours of her. I know she's not doing anything more important than this. This would be the climax of the show. What is she doing?” yikes Rogan wasn’t holding back. “Honestly, she's probably dealing with a lot right now,” noted Rogan who is probably alluding to Kanye West and his messy tweets.

No matter where the home movie star is, she commands a room. Handler wanted to know where the heck Kim was and wondered if the “extra security outside was for Kim Kardashian.” She cleared up her shady joke with another shady joke noting that security was actually there for her because “I am wearing Marilyn Monroe's DivaCup.”

The slam was because Kim wore an old dress of Marilyn’s and admittedly lost 16 lbs off her already small frame to squeeze into it. Kim has done a lot of crazy things in the past but dropping 16lbs shocked a lot of people who believe she was promoting a bad body image.

Kim admitted that when she slipped into the dress, she was scared of how people would perceive her. “I'm a little nervous some people will hate, and just be like, ‘How dare she think she can step into Marilyn's dress,’” Kim noted. “And I get that,” she claims.

The dress fit Kim like a glove but apparently, she damaged the vintage gown which we now know not to be true, but she was accused of losing beads off the gown. Kim later admitted she only walked the red carpet in the gown.

For the actual event, she wore a replica. But let’s be honest what a great replica if people assumed it was the real thing.
