Harry Styles & Chris Pine Put 'Spitgate' Behind Them: 'Eat, Drink & Be Merry'

“Spitgate” who?

The recent ‘gate’ to rock the interwebs was “Spitgate 2022” which involved Harry Styles and Chris Pine.

The “Don’t Worry Darling” co-stars caused quite the social media frenzy earlier this year when video of Styles walking past Pine and seemingly spitting on him at the Venice International Film Festival went viral.

It was “the spit seen ‘round the world” if you will.

“Spitgate” occurred at a time when ‘DWD’ was getting a lot of press for the drama unfolding off the set and behind the scenes.

There were rumors of Florence Pugh and Olivia Wilde feuding about the director’s affair with Styles.

The supposed spit added more fuel to the fire, with many claiming there was beef between Styles and Pine.

Both men went on the record to negate “Spitgate,” but many were still curious about the true status of their relationship.

Well, it seems everything between the bros are all and well!

Photos obtained by the Daily Mail show the actors embracing one another, and sharing drinks and laughs with a group of friends.

The moment was captured while the actors were in Brazil on Tuesday, December 6th.

It’s unclear why both Styles and Pine are in Brazil together, but it’s clear “Spitgate 2022” is behind them.

At the time everything started to unravel about the viral moment, a rep for Pine told PEOPLE, “This is a ridiculous story — a complete fabrication and the result of an odd online illusion that is clearly deceiving and allows for foolish speculation,” the statement read. “Just to be clear, Harry Styles did not spit on Chris Pine. There is nothing but respect between these two men and any suggestion otherwise is a blatant attempt to create drama that simply does not exist."

A few days later, Styles broke his silence about the drama at one of his “Love On Tour” shows.

During a show at Madison Square Garden, the “Policeman” actor told fans, “This is our 10th show at Madison Square Garden, it is wonderful, wonderful, wonderful to be back here.”

The British singer continued, “I just popped over to Venice to spit on Chris Pine but fear not, we’re back!”

His “confession” was met with wild screams and cheers.

He encouraged his fans to have as much fun as they can and nothing more about Pine.

Given Style’s track record of cracking jokes during his shows, it’s pretty evident this was one big joke.
