Christina Ricci Granted Restraining Order Against Husband After Alleged Domestic Violence Incident

'Addams Family' actress Christina Ricci was granted an emergency protective order against her husband, James Heerdegen after the cops were called to her home after a domestic violence incident.
According to reports, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the actress's home after the couple was involved in a nasty argument that turned violent.
“On 06/25/20, around 9:20 a.m., officers responded to a domestic battery radio call,” a spokesperson for the LAPD confirmed.
After arriving on the scene, neither Ricci nor James was arrested. "A report was completed," the cops told Us Weekly.
According to sources close to the situation, when cops arrived they spoke to Ricci about what had transpired and she had no visible marks or injuries. It's unclear exactly what she alleged James did to her during the argument, and if he accused the actress of being violent.
But, LAPD did issue an 'emergency protective order' which forces the couple to stay away from each other for a short period of time, until a more extensive order can be requested from the court.
We're told the 'Addams Family' star has already hired a divorce attorney and plans on officially filing to end the couple's marriage in the coming days.
Christina Ricci and her husband James Heerdegen share a 5-year old son, Freddie, and have been married for over 7 years.
The now-estranged couple met on the set of now-defunct 'Pan Am' series in 2011. Heerdegen is in the entertainment industry as well, working as a 'dolly grip.' This job involves the crew member responsible for moving the camera dolly (the wheeled cart structure that the camera sits on).
Interestingly, over Father's day weekend, things with the couple seemed just fine -- after the actress posted a message to James saying, “We ♥️you, Daddy! @jamesheerdegen ♥️,” on Instagram.
