Real Life Soap Opera Couples

Soap operas have created many popular super couples over the years. "General Hospital" had Luke and Laura, while "Days of Our Lives" brought fans the love story of Bo and Hope.
Behind the scenes, sparks tend to fly between some of the co-stars.
One couple that has recently been the topic of the soap opera community is "The Young and the Restless" stars Sharon Case and Mark Grossman.
Rumors of them being a couple began last year when Grossman was cast in the role of Adam Newman.
During the scenes with Adam and Sharon Newman, viewers couldn't help noticing the steamy chemistry between the stars.
The pair have been adding fuel to the rumors since they spend a lot of time together off set.
Sharon and Mark have went on vacations together, and he was at her birthday celebration back in February.
Case was married to a man named Sandy Corzine from 2007 to 2009. Following her divorce, she's been quiet about her personal life.
As for Grossman, not much is known about his love life, but fans know that the actor is single.
While neither Case or Grossman have commented about the status of their relationship, this hasn't stopped the excitement from Y&R fans who are happy for the couple.

Out of all the real-life soap couples, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos have to be the most famous.
The two met on the set of the ABC soap opera "All My Children" in 1995 when Consuelos was cast as Mateo Santos, the new love interest for Ripa's character Hayley Vaughn.
They became a hit couple onscreen, and their romance blossomed offscreen as well.
One year after they began dating, the couple eloped in May 1996.
A year after their wedding, the couple became parents when Ripa gave birth to a son named Michael.
Four years later, their daughter Lola was born in June 2001. Their third child, a son named Joaquin was born in February 2003.
In February 2001, Kelly was announced as Regis Philbin's new co-host on "Live!"
After signing on for her morning show gig, Ripa along with Consuelos left "All My Children" in 2002.
Since then Ripa's enjoyed success as a talk show host, and as for Consuelos he's continued acting, with his most recent role being on the CW series "Riverdale."
After 24 years of marriage, Kelly and Mark proved that the spark is still alive in their relationship.
One of the cutest real-life soap opera couples that fans love is Chad Duell and Courtney Hope.
Duell plays Michael Corinthos on the ABC show "General Hospital" and Hope plays Sally Spectra on "The Bold and the Beautiful."
Even though they work on opposite shows, Duell and Hope don't let work interfere with their personal life.
Much like his soap character, Duell's romantic life had rocky moments.
He married girlfriend Taylor Novack in September 2012, however just a couple of months later he filed for an annulment.
He then began dating his GH co-star Kristen Alderson and was by her side when she won a Daytime Emmy in 2013.
After two years of dating, Duell and Alderson broke up in October 2015.
In 2016, he began dating Courtney and the two have been together ever since.
The two live in California and when they're not at home with their pups, they love to go to amusement parks and go hiking in the mountains.

Maura West is considered one of the most talented actresses on daytime.
She's won many awards and appeared on many soap operas, and along the way she's had the support of her husband Scott Defreitas.
Maura and Scott met on the set of the CBS show "As the World Turns" in the late 90s'.
Maura played the role of bad girl Carly, while Scott played Andy Dixon.
Even though their characters had no interaction, sparks flew between Maura and Scott.
Maura had divorced her husband of four years Jonathan Knight in 1999. The couple had a son named Ben, who was born in 1996.
She and Scott married in January 2000 and their son Joseph was born two months later in March.

LaRue was cast in the role of Maria Santos, a new lady love for the character Edmund Grey, played by John Callahan.
Not too long after Eva joined the show, she and John began dating.
The couple married in November 1996, and it was the second marriage for both. Eva's ex-husband was actor John O'Hurley.
In December 2001, Eva and John became parents when she gave birth to a daughter named Kaya.
After nine years of marriage, Eva and John divorced in 2005, but remained the best of friends.
When John passed away in March 2020, Eva posted a loving tribute to her ex on Instagram.
