Actress Anne Heche had cocaine and more drugs in her system at the time of the deadly car crash in early August, according to an autopsy report obtained by The Blast.

According to records, the "Six Days, Seven Nights" actress died from "inhalation and thermal injuries" along with a "sternal fracture due to blunt force trauma." Heche was rushed to the hospital after crashing her vehicle into a home, which resulted in a massive fire.

Unfortunately, Heche was unable to survive the injuries sustained from the impact of the car crash. Her death was ruled an accident.

In an autopsy report obtained by The Blast on Tuesday, December 6, the toxicology report showed the presence of benzoylecgonine, an inactive metabolite of cocaine. This means that there was no evidence of impairment by illicit substances at the time Heche crashed the vehicle.

Cannabinoids were detected in a urine sample collected during the autopsy but were not present in her bloodstream. This means that she had consistently used them prior to the crash, but not during the fatal car accident.

Although the "Volcano" actress had fentanyl in her bloodstream, it was given to her after she had received treatment at the hospital.

As The Blast previously reported, Homer has been in an ongoing legal battle with her ex-boyfriend, James Tupper. After she passed away, the two have been arguing over who will take control of her estate. Although Heche died without a will, the court granted Homer authority over his late mother’s estate.

A month after her passing, Tupper claimed that Heche asked him to take control of her assets in the event of her untimely passing in an email dated over ten years ago. According to legal documents obtained by The Blast, the court sided with Homer, and he can now “take possession of all the personal property of the estate of the decedent and preserve it from damage, waste, and injury.”
