Britney Spears clocked herself over 3.6 million views overnight for her latest workout video, but the 38-year-old pop princess was fresh outta luck when it came to the trolling comments. If you don't live inside Britney's Instagram, the account has logged the "Toxic" singer admitting to "burning down" her gym in late April. Britney was back in the same workout room for her Friday night Instagram update which came as a "tight buttocks" tutorial.

Seemingly, viewers to the now-viral video had an issue with the blonde's penchant for tugging down those teeny-tiny shorts. Their comments were unkind, but repeated.

And with a body like Britney's, it might be advice worth taking. The video showed the singer solo and on cushioned floor mats as she spoke into the camera – "And yes, it is the gym that I burned down," she said while flaunting some serious abs in a pale pink sports bra and tiny checkered shorts worn low-slung. Fans then got a 5-minute workout, plus captioned advice.

Britney – who has two below-the hip tattoos including a kanji symbol inside a starburst – had opted for the pulled-down shorts finish, something that viewers over in The Daily Mail's comments section are now challenging the singer over.

Spears now sees herself – and many might argue unfairly – ridiculed by hundreds of upvotes left to a string of comments over the shorts. "Why is she always pulling her drawers down?" a use wrote. Over 300 others agreed.

"You will be most hard-pressed to find photos of her where she isn't tugging her shorts down," another said. The thought was echoed by a user writing; "I just want to pull her shorts up higher..."

Spears, followed by 24.5 million on Instagram, has, indeed been toting the tugged-down look a lot of late. The singer has also proven a repeat target for trolls – her own fans drove "What in the meth is this?" up to the top of the comments section for last night's video. More below.

Britney – who despite an estimated net worth of $215 million still shops at Target and was considered refreshing for delivering her Pride message in a Pretty Little Thing Dress – nonetheless found herself further criticized as the bullying comments mounted up. "Who wears their shorts like that anymore? You don't work at Abercrombie, Britney," a fan harshly wrote.

It wasn't all one-way, though. The star whose smokeshow body defined a generation was called "awesome" by one user, with a fair amount green with envy over what remains one impressive physique.

Britney has spoken her mind. 2020 sparked major mental health concerns for the openly-bipolar star whose 2008-commenced conservatorship sparked the #FreeBritney movement. “I’ve read a lot of things online of people criticising my posts… saying I post the same 15 pictures with the same red background and wearing the same white bathing suit," the singer stated in March, adding that “Reading all of the mean comments really hurts my feelings... and I wanted to share because you really shouldn’t be saying all of these mean things to someone you don’t even know… this goes for bullying anyone really!!!!!!”
