Emily Ratajkowski was not left alone as she grabbed groceries ahead of the weekend. The 29-year-old supermodel and Inamorata founder had L.A.’s paparazzi hot on her heels – an outing from EmRata might be prime meat for the photographers, but with a newly-blonde look debuted just two days ago, the London-born star is worth twice what she was on Tuesday. Emily was snapped yesterday as she stocked up on food. She was also seen in a mask honoring the late Kobe Bryant.

The snaps showed Emily looking effortlessly stylish, summery, and rocking a braless finish as she was spotted in a red-and-white patterned sundress with a spaghetti-strap finish and green string details at the bust. The newly-blonde locks showcased as part of a paid partnership with Kerastate were on show as Emily wore her hair worn down, with the star also wearing tortoise-rimmed shades, plus a black Lakers face mask with Kobe’s 24 number on it. Ratajkowski was seen clutching a large plastic bag with brown paper grocery parcels stuffed inside.
Wednesday marked Emily showcasing her new hair – she joins stars including reality star Kylie Jenner and model Kaia Gerber in going peroxide blonde for summer. As The Blast reported, Emily showing her 26.6 million Instagram followers “Day 1 as a blonde” while in a black bikini proved, well, mixed in terms of feedback. “No bueno” was one response, with another simply writing: “NOOOOOO.” Emily did, however, snag herself over 1.7 million likes for the sultry swimwear snaps and those luscious blonde locks. Scroll for how much the reveal might have earned her.
Emily’s reveal abided by Instagram’s rules as she kicked off with a video now watched over 4 million times. “BLONDE. Thank you @kerastate_official #kerastase,” she wrote. Pay on Instagram correlates with following, something that experts over at Vox have offered potential figures for. “Influencers with up to 1 million followers can get $10,000 [per post], depending on the platform, and 1 million followers and up, you’re getting into territory where they can charge $100,000. Some can even get $250,000 for a post”
Paid promos aren’t frequent on Emily’s Instagram – the model’s 2017-founded Inamorata swim and lingerie line is her main gig now. In fact, Emily’s GQ reveal this year saw her state that getting paid to promote other brands wasn’t doing it for her. The savvy businesswoman realized she could earn way more doing her own thing – and she likely is. Emily did, however, reveal: “Modeling was an amazing way to make money and gain stability; fame came with that and it was a bizarre thing. Fame wasn’t something I had really expected or really wanted – although deep down probably every 20-year-old girl wants to be famous a little bit.”
