Ariel Winter took less than 15 minutes to be called hotter than a “laptop bottom” today. The “Modern Family” actress whose Instagram has remained notably silent during both COVID-19 and Black Lives Matter updated her account on Tuesday. Ariel, 22, had gone down the throwback route with a stunning series of shoots prior to her return to strawberry-blonde locks – if you don’t live inside the ABC face’s Instagram, she marked the sitcom ending by dying her hair, as she called it, “strawberry and shortcake.”
Scroll for the video racking up over 50,000 views in just 20 minutes. Ariel, who has mostly been making headlines for her masked grocery runs, was looking a million miles from the makeup-free sweats and sneakers looks hitting the paparazzi, initially seen in black-and-white and rocking a shirtless blazer look. The color part of the video then showed Ariel seated on a perspex chair in wide-legged yellow pants, an unbuttoned white blouse, plus a racy, sheer, and cupped black corset.
And she did. Ariel, who starred on “Modern Family” for 11 years prior to its April wrap-up, was showered with love the minute the update went live. Her caption had kept things simple, reading: “Tbt.” Gaining likes fast was a comment going new-gen: “Hotter than the bottom of my laptop.?❤️,” the fan wrote. Meanwhile, another said: “You’ve come a long way. Well done.” Ariel, who was body-shamed both before and after dropping 30 pounds in January 2019, does appear to have done just that. More below.
Ariel has only been sharing select snippets of her lock-down with 25-year-old boyfriend Luke Benward. The Netflix star who has been dating Ariel since December 2019 recently featured in a major PDA on the actress’ IG – he’s also been spotted at studios with Ariel. The star grabbing $227 worth of takeout earlier on in the pandemic may well have seen her feeding two. Ariel has also made headlines for negative reasons as “Modern Family” wrapped up – she found herself trashed in a see-through and underwear-style dress, but was defended by co-star Sarah Hyland.
Ariel did break her Instagram silence for #BlackoutTuesday on June 2, also returning to the platform to remember murdered black woman Breonna Taylor. Her Blackout Tuesday post read: ” I understand that I’ll never understand, but I will stand with my black brothers and sisters. I will fight for you. IT’S TIME FOR LOVE, EQUALITY, EMPATHY, PEACE, EDUCATION, ACCEPTANCE. Let’s create change. I love you all.” Ariel was also spotted out on L.A. streets today for a workout session as gyms re-open.
