Angela Simmons Catches The Worm With 5 A.M. Grass Spandex Workout On Instagram

Angela Simmons beat everyone to it this week. The "Growing Up Hip-Hop" star whose 2019-founded Purpose App comes with Built Not Bought as its hashtag updated her Instagram on Tuesday with proof that she was up at the crack of dawn to work out. Angela, 32, currently has her hands full with the May launch of her Simmons Beauty brand. The daughter to rapper Rev Run has not, however, abandoned her sweat sessions, with her 6.6 million Instagram followers getting every last detail.

Scroll for the video, plus what Angela has to say about her body – and she delivered the message bare-faced and in a bikini. A photo kicked things off as Angela struck a warrior yoga pose while on grass today. The 5 a.m. time-stamp showed the star to be up with the sun, with "Rise and Shine" accompanying her snap. Angela was looking steely-strong in a burgundy-red pair of spandex leggings with edgy sheer paneling. A loose white tank and yellows sports bra with a matching headband completed the sneaker-accessorized look.

Fans have been commenting. Angela's video, below, showed her boxing it out under blue skies and with her trainer. The mom to 2016-born Sutton – who doesn't buy into plastic surgery vibes – was covered in sweat. The raw power vibe was picked up on as a fan wrote: "Build NOT bought YESSSSS!!!! ???." Then again, others seemed to be hoping Angela isn't trying to drop a ton of weight. "I hope she isn't trying to lose weight because she's perfect?," one user wrote. More below.

April 30 brought the Fashion Nova partner into the news for an honest body-image reveal. Angela, who stripped down to a mismatched bikini to share her mind, wrote: “She’s not perfect , her weight fluctuates, she has her days when she’s not sure … she doesn’t have a 6 pack." She added: "I want to encourage you to love your body. Wherever you stand with it . It’s not easy . But it’s worth it. You are worth it." Co-star Bow Wow seems to have very specific thoughts on Angela's curves, though.

And it wouldn't be "Growing Up Hip-Hop" without a little humor. Fellow VH1 face Bow Wow joked that Angela's backside had set off his house alarm earlier this year. Angela, meanwhile, continues her workouts on her IG – complete with that famous bedroom yoga swing. The star is also earning her cash on the platform as an influencer for Fashion Nova. "That inside work hits different," she recently wrote while rocking a slit yellow dress from the affordable clothing giant. Scroll for those Cheetos snacked on with spread legs.
