Ex-Billionaire Kylie Jenner and her sister Kendall are being accused of screwing over the workers who make the garments for their clothing line.

The fashion non-profit Remake published an article entitled, “Kylie, Kendall, and Cardi B’s Unpaid Bills Have Left Garment Makers Starving.”

The outlet reports that following the pandemic, Kylie and Kendall Jenner have allegedly screwed over garment makers around the world by refusing to pay for orders they placed. They claim Jenner’s clothing line, Kendall + Kylie, which is owned by Global Brands Group have informed the makers they will not be paying their bills for garments made in February and March due to drops in sales.

Global Brands Group CEO, Rick Darling, wrote in a letter, “Given the unpredictability of the situation, our retail partners have cancelled orders, and existing inventory and product in production may have no sell-through. Consequently, we have no choice but to make the difficult decision to cancel all S/S 2020 orders from all suppliers (without liability).”

Remake claims other celebrity lines guilty of screwing over garment workers including Diddy’s Sean John line and Cardi B’s line with Fashion Nova. Remake, a nonprofit organization focused on ethics in fashion, describes themselves as a “We are a community of designers, IG addicts, feminists, storytellers, and all around fashion aficionados, who believe that fashion can be a force for good.”

The backlash against Kylie continues to grow after it was revealed she allegedly forged tax documents to make herself appear richer. Kylie has denied the allegations.

Last month, Forbes published a story “Inside Kylie Jenner’s Web of Lies – And Why’s She’s No Longer a Billionaire” claimed she mispresented her net worth for years. The article compared Kylie to Donald Trump with his “decades-long obsession” with his net worth. Forbes wrote, “the unusual lengths to which the Jenners have been willing to go—including inviting Forbes into their mansions and CPA’s offices, and even creating tax returns that were likely forged—reveals just how desperate some of the ultra-rich are to look even richer.”
