Liam Hemsworth’s Girlfriend, Gabriella Brooks, Enjoys Lunch With His Family

Liam Hemsworth’s girlfriend, Gabriella Brooks, looked sensational as she enjoyed quality time with his mother.

“The Hunger Games” actor is reportedly getting serious with his model beau. Yesterday, the two were spotted together at lunch with the rest of his family in Byron Baby.

At one point, Brooks had her arm around Hemsworth’s mother, Leonie, as the two chatted and laughed. Also in attendance were Hemsworth’s older brothers, Luke and Chris, and their wives.

For the outing, Brooks looked effortlessly chic in maroon flared pants and a white tank, that she accessorized with dark orange boots.

Hemsworth and Brooks have been dating since last year. In December 2019, the 30-year-old was photographed introducing his girlfriend to his parents.

Brooks, a fellow Australian, studied ancient history and archaeology at Sydney University before her fashion career took off.

The 23-year-old has since worked with Topshop and Calvin Klein. She’s currently signed with Priscillas Models, Storm Models, and Next Models.

Before Hemsworth, Brooks was in a long-term relationship with 1975 frontman Matthew Healy. They were first linked in 2015 and reportedly broke up last August.

Although the couple has been together less than a year, it looks like Hemsworth's parents are on board with his new relationship.

“Liam's family is so taken by Gabby,” an insider toldOk! Australia. “[His parents] think Liam has made a very solid choice.”

“She's [Gabby] also so well-spoken and just seems to have a really good head on her shoulders,” the insider added.

According to multiple sources, Hemsworth’s family were never the biggest fans of his ex-wife, Miley Cyrus, 27.

After the couple split, a source toldHollywood Life, “His mom is feeling so relieved that Liam made the decision to end the relationship as his entire family, but her especially, always struggled approving Miley.”

The source continued, “Liam’s family just wants him to be happy, but they want to see him with someone much more traditional and they won’t be happy until he has that.”

“It’s now very important for him to have his mother’s stamp of approval and he seems to be going in a different direction with what he’s looking for in a partner this time around. He’s really listening to his mother," the insider added.

Last year, Hemsworth’s sister-in-law, Elsa Pataky, discussed his split from Cyrus saying, “My brother-in-law, well, after a relationship where he dedicated 10 years, he’s discouraged…but he’s taking it well. He’s a strong guy, and he deserves the best. I think he deserves much more."

And while his relationship with Cyrus lasted over a decade, it looks like they’re both moving on.

The “Can’t Be Tamed” singer had a brief fling with Brody Jenner’s ex, Kaitlynn Carter last year before moving on with Cody Simpson.

According to an insider, Liam is also doing well. He “is happy to be moving on” and “feels more comfortable with Gabriella.”
