Ariana Madix teamed up with her former “Vanderpump Rules” co-star Billie Lee to fight for the Black Lives Matter movement. The “Pump Rules” stars were seen at Laugh Factory’s Juneteenth celebration held outside the famous comedy venue on Friday, June 19 in West Hollywood. Ariana Madix and Billie Lee were spotted in the audience while comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish was speaking but both girls looked almost unrecognizable covering their faces with masks. Their appearance comes on the heels of Bravo’s firing scandal.
Jesse Montana, who works at SUR alongside Ariana Madix, shared footage of the duo at the event which they later posted to their own social media. The ladies were sitting in the middle of the intersection with several other participants, listening and absorbing everything the speakers had to say. They weren’t the only “Vanderpump Rules” representation there either. In the video, Jesse also tagged “Pump Rules” newcomers Dayna Kathan and Danica Dow. As The Blast reported, Bravo has fired five stars over racial comments.
The small group of SUR staff looked happy and engaged throughout their time at the celebration, hosted by the famed comedy shop. Their participation comes almost two weeks after Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, Max Boyens, and Brett Caprioni were all axed from the hit reality show.
Stassi and Kristen were fired when a racial incident involving former castmate Faith Stowers was brought to light. As for Max and Brett, Bravo cut ties after several racist tweets from their past were exposed.
Ariana Madix has stayed quiet on the issue as did her boyfriend Tom Sandoval who refused to talk about the scandal in an interview with GQ. Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute both apologized for their actions but fans were outraged and demanded Bravo get rid of them. They aren’t the only stars that viewers are coming for either. Fans want Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Lala Kent fired too. As of now, Bravo has not revealed if anyone else is on the chopping block.
