Mel B Calls 'Spice Girls' Bandmate Geri Halliwell 'Really Annoying'

Mel B is Scary Spice for a reason. The singer just openly slammed bandmate Geri Halliwell and didn’t hold back about other celebs either.

The singer appeared on Britain’s “The Big Narstie Show” where she was asked, who was the worst celebrity she had ever encountered. Mel didn’t hold back. “So, there’s a few,” begins the 47-year-old. “James Corden, Geri Halliwell, Jessie J and me.”

She quickly clarified there is no rift between herself and Halliwell, more affectionately known as Ginger Spice but she does acknowledge that she can be “really f*****g annoying.” That being said, the women are like sisters by this point and who doesn’t find their sibling annoying every now and again?

The singer has a different vibe when it comes to The Late Late Show host. “I think you always have to be nice to the people that you work with — whether it be production, camera guys, sound, lighting,” begins Scary Spice.

“We all work for the same thing, so you should always be nice, and he hasn’t been very nice.” Oh no, was the jolly comedian mean to the fellow Brit? It seems like Mel has a story behind her comment.

She didn’t elaborate of course, but she did appear on the talk show twice in 2016 and again in 2018. Plus, the two have crossed paths at several events, so is she alluding to something that happened between them in the past?

The singer joins a handful of people who have expressed their distaste for Corden and his allegedly bad attitude. Most recently he was accused of treating restaurant staff like crap. Specifically, Keith McNally, owner of New York City restaurant Balthazar shared his story.

“James Corden is a Hugely gifted comedian, but a tiny Cretin of a man. And the most abusive customer to my Balthazar servers since the restaurant opened 25 years ago,” the restaurateur wrote in an Instagram post. He went on to confirm that he has to “86” the comedian from his restaurant… forever.

Corden allegedly demanded free things and even threatened to leave a bad review of the New York staple. McNally spoke with PageSix and claimed that he didn’t want to share the story, but he is sticking up for his employees.

“Their jobs are hard enough already. They shouldn’t have to take this kind of abuse from anyone, especially the rich and famous.”

Corden issued an apology, but others were already sharing stories of Corden's bad behavior long ago.
