Britney Spears now sees over 890 users agreeing to an opinion – ultimately a heart-warming one – telling her that a little more clothing wouldn't have gone amiss during her latest outing. The 38-year-old pop princess made headlines ahead of the weekend for breaking her quarantine and enjoying a sun-drenched L.A. outing with boyfriend Sam Asghari – Britney looked stunning and carefree as she ran barefoot in grass, hit up Nordstrom for shopping and smoothies, and even worked out with the man she's been dating since 2016.

The "Toxic" singer, whose 2016 "Glory" album was recently driven to #1 chart spot, had gone for her trademark skimpy wardrobe, seen flaunting her super-fit body in a tiny tan pair of shorts, a blue-and-white crop top with a string detail, plus simple brown Birkenstocks, also rocking a stylish blue blazer for her Nordstrom trip. While Spears will find herself subject to cruel taunts, the remark suggesting she should cover up didn't come as hurtful overall.

Over on British newspaper The Daily Mail, over 2,200 likes have been left to a comment reading: "Hey, she looks happy! Nothing wrong with that" Over 1,400 fans upvoted a similar reply – "Love how she is loving life and giving no bleeps on what people think!!" Unclear whether positive or negative was: "She dresses like a teenager" – over 1,000 users upvoted this remark. Also very popular was a reply stating: "It's nice to see her frolicking & happy. Her life hasn't been an easy one. That being said, she should dress for the body she has, not the one she thinks she does. She'd look so much better with a bit more clothing."

Britney, whose Instagram activity this year has seen her clap back at "mean" comments she deemed "bullying," received a fair few replies entering trolling territory – "Someone else needs to dress her, as she clearly cannot dress herself" was one. That said, amid replies that body-shamed the mom of two, the tone was largely positive, although the star was told that she dresses "like its 2002." Spears, now iconic for her skimpy crop top looks and tiny shorts, also seemed to have some viewers unsure on the outfit: "Girl, this look isn't it," a user said with 990 others agreeing. The singer had touched on the hairstyle back in May as she revealed that bangs leave her feeling "protected." The blonde's candid reveal also saw her front media outlets for an admission that she once felt "like an ugly duckling," adding that she'd "met with a modeling agency but I wasn't pretty enough." Britney, now dubbed the "queen of bangs" by her fans, has racked herself up over 940,000 likes for the hair debut.
