Marques Houston Trashed On Social Media Over 19-Year-Old Fiancé Miya

38-year-old Marques Houston continues to be ripped to shreds on social media after people realized he’s engaged to a 19-year-old.

The internet is losing it after they figured out Marques’ fiancé Miya is pretty young. Many were grossed out by the age difference between the two.

The former B2k member defended his relationship and denied he did anything wrong. Back in March 2019, Marques announced he had proposed to Miya. They first started dating in September 2018 but not many people knew her age. He wrote a lengthy message on social media, “With all that’s going on in the world, my love life shouldn’t be a topic. But since it is let me just give y’all the facts so you don’t have to “allegedly” believe or create rumors. After reading the Blog that was published about my fiancé and I, I felt with this situation I needed to speak because this is not music or television, this is my family, my future wife and my life.

Marques said, “I met Miya in 2018 through a mutual friend. Never before then, did I even know she existed. Miya and I didn’t start dating until she was an adult. We fell in love and got engaged in March of 2019. My dad Michael loves her, and the people I am closest to all love her as well. Most importantly we have Jehovahs blessing ? “

The statement didn’t really help matters and people still the situation to be odd. One fan asked, “can someone please explain why Marques Houston, a 38 year old geezer, is engaged to a 19 year old girl who he allegedly knew before she was 18? They announced they were in a relationship 11 days after she turned 18 last october, and now comments on the pdfile's insta are limited.”

“Marques Houston is 38 years old and marrying a 19-year old that he’s known since she was a little girl. She’s also been registered as a missing person since 2016...... I’m going to bed......,” said one person, who is referencing rumors posted online that Miya is a missing kid.

Another fan pondered, “Marques Houston is really engaged to a 19 year old. Imagine having to get a Caprisun out the cooler at your own wedding because you too young to drink.”

Miya has remained quiet amid the ongoing controversy.
