"Indiana Jones" has always blended history with the supernatural, and it looks like "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" is no exception.

"I don't believe in magic," Indy says in the trailer. "But a few times in my life, I've seen things. Things I can't explain. And I've come to believe it's not so much what you believe... it's how hard you believe it."

Although the official plot has yet to be revealed, the trailer does show that John Rhys-Davies' Sallah, who first appeared in "Raiders of the Lost Ark," will make an appearance in Indy's last adventure.

At September's D23 Expo, director James Mangold, Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy all appeared on stage to give the live audience a first look at the new “Indiana Jones” film at the Anaheim Convention Center.

At the time, Ford was emotional on stage and he revealed that this would be his last adventure as the whip-slinging archaeologist. He said he was "very proud" of the movie, which he described as "fantastic."

He then pointed to "Fleabag" creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, saying "this is one of the reasons." Waller-Bridge added that she had “the time of [her] life” working on the film.

“Indiana Jones movies are about mystery and adventure, but they’re also about heart, and I’m really, really happy that we have a really human story to tell, as well as a movie that will kick your a–,” Ford continued before he announced his retirement from the franchise.

The “Star Wars" alum told audiences, “This is it,” before joking, “I will not fall down for you again.”

Director James Mangold, who had previously worked with Ford on "Call of the Wild," also spoke at the D23 Expo. He spoke briefly about working with what he called “a Mount Rushmore of creative greats” in the final "Indiana Jones" film of Ford’s career.

“I was surrounded by tremendous talent and support, and such goodwill and advice and found myself living out a kind of fantasy from when I was in high school, wondering what it would be like to direct one of these pictures, and to honor what they mean to you and me,” Mangold said.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter published in April, Mads Mikkelsen had nothing but love for Harrison Ford and stated that the feel of the film reminds him of "Raiders of the Lost Ark."

"It just oozed that golden period of serials from the 1940s — and that’s in the fifth film as well,” he said at the time. “They’re going heavily back to the first and second film and getting that original feel, the original Indy, something dense and epic.”

Fans can look forward to seeing Harrison Ford for a final time as the whip-slinging archaeologist in "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny," only in theaters June 30, 2023.
