Teresa Giudice Attacks Radio Hosts For Bringing Up Her 'Time Away'

Teresa Giudice is still not interested in acknowledging her time spent in prison and cussed out a radio host for bringing it up.

The housewife star prides herself on how “namaste” she can stay under pressure and how positive she is because she does yoga. None of that showed when she appeared via telephone on a radio show this week.

Billy & Lisa In The Morning host, Billy Costa got ripped a new one by Giudice when the friendly, promotional interview turned sour. Costa must not be a housewife fan because he broke the cardinal rule with the mom of four; he brought up her “time away”.

“Teresa, we know you spent some time in prison, but you came out of prison and wrote a book — a bestseller — about your time in prison, and did it focus a lot on the food in prison?” he inquired.

Teresa immediately went on the defense and said she didn’t “want to talk about that.” She went on to snap about all her other books he could have brought up. “I don’t know if you know this, but I’m a four-time New York Times bestselling author.”

“[We’re going to] have a good time, and it’s all about being positive, right? And not negative? You should learn some of that,” implored the reality star. Costa tried to get past the drama and said he would “work on that.”

His attempt to move on was denied as Giudice had more to get off her chest. “I have a podcast called ‘Namaste Bitches,’ [and] you should listen to it and learn how to be a little more namaste,” insisted Giudice.

Her publicist had the sense to cut her off and end the call but the damage was done and the radio host continued to discuss the moment.

Billy and another co-host Justin Aguirre didn’t even know they were allegedly being rude to the Ultimate Girl’s Trip star. They insisted that they were asking her questions based on “part of [her] bio” given to them by her publicist and no one specifically said not to bring up her time in jail.

“I did time in prison, too, and you said, ‘Yeah you did time in prison, but you got out, you wrote a successful book,’ which it was — it was a huge book,” discussed the co-hosts back and forth. They called Giudice an “idiot,” “nothing,” and a “monster”.

The kicker is Giudice wrote about her 11 months in prison in 2015 in “Turning The Tables” so it would be natural for the hosts to want to bring it up but again, they must not be Bravo fans because Bravo stans know that is a no, no!

The more the hosts went on about the encounter the more information was shared. They insisted that her publicist didn’t mention that jail was off-limits. They “stayed away” from her hot-button topics enforced by her publicists but the only topics she mentioned were Teresa wearing Balenciaga after that weird ad they dropped with kid's toys in bondage.

And, her strained relationship with her brother Joe Gorga. The hosts were invited to the event she was in town promoting but he’s passing on that one. “I don’t even want a coffee with Teresa Giudice.”

Teresa’s publicist and lawyer James J. Leonard Jr. had the reality star's back even if she was rude. “I think Mr. Costa needs to work on being a bit more namaste like Teresa is — he seemed like he was looking for a confrontation or to have his moment,” suggests Leonard Jr.

“I would recommend he listen to Teresa’s podcast, ‘Namaste Bitches,’ so he can work on himself and learn how to properly treat guests on his show.”

Even Andy Cohen chimed in when a fan called into his Radio Andy morning show and asked for his thoughts on the matter. He first tried to joke about the matter, “That’s what’s happening in Boston this morning, I like it.” But the caller insisted on his real thoughts.

Ultimately, he had Teresa’s back when he found out that the radio hosts brought up her jail time. “OK, well, there you go, I knew it, so he started with the jail thing.”
