Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni may have been fired from their full-time positions on "Vanderpump Rules" but when it comes to their employment at Lisa Vanderpump's West Hollywood restaurants, TomTom and SUR, they haven't yet heard anything about their potential firings from their former co-star's venues.

On June 15, Us Weekly magazine revealed to readers that it hasn't yet been confirmed whether or not Max and Brett will return to the restaurants where they work once they are reopened to guests.

According to Us Weekly magazine, Max and Brett's employment at Lisa's restaurants is yet-to-be-determined.

“Brett and Max haven’t heard anything in regards to their employment at the restaurants yet once they open back up,” the source said. “It’s still all being worked out.”

As "Vanderpump Rules" fans have surely heard, TomTom, SUR, and Lisa's other restaurants, including Villa Blanca and PUMP Lounge, were shut down in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic and have yet to reopen their doors, despite certain restrictions being lifted.

Following his exit from the Bravo show, Brett admitted he was “disappointed to no longer be part of the cast," but said he also respects Bravo's decision.

In a statement to Us Weekly magazine on June 10, he said, “I continue to be truly sorry for the insensitive comments I made in the past and have worked within my community to repair the damage I’ve caused. I have learned a lot and grown from the experience but understand that it’s not enough. I will continue to do more regardless of my affiliation with VPR because it’s the right thing to do.”

In a June 4 post on his Instagram page, which came in the midst of protests over police brutality and racial injustice, Max revealed he has a black grandfather.

“Never have I ever NOT been prideful of being black. EVER,” he began. “I didn’t express I was black when the tweets came out because I didn’t want to justify them. Make it seem like OH ITS FINE I CAN SAY THAT IM BLACK. Umm no. I CANNOT say that and never will. But trust me when I say I’m f**king proud to have black in me."

In her own statement, Lisa said she “loves and adores” her employees and is “deeply saddened by some of the lack of judgment that has been displayed” by them.

“We’ve never tolerated it in the workplace or our lives,” she wrote. “While you only see a fraction of our employees on the show, a specific friend group, across all of our companies, we have always been a very diverse group of people – every color, ethnicity and sexual orientation."

No word yet on when filming will begin on "Vanderpump Rules" season nine.
