Britney Spears Is Looking To Score 'Cool Points' ... With Kate Hudson?! 

Singer Britney Spears has been mentioning model Kate Hudson in a lot of her recent Instagram posts lately.

On Tuesday, the "Hold Me Closer" singer, 40, took to Instagram to share a photo of Kate admiring the inside of a luxurious church along with a few watermarked images. In the caption, Britney admitted that she was looking to score "cool points" with her followers, and possibly Kate herself.

In the caption of her latest Instagram post, the “Toxic” singer wrote, “Okay I guess I’ve upgraded my Instagram by posting the coolest picture I’ve ever seen in my life ?️ … not showing their faces … mama and baby are looking at something so tiny but you can’t really see what it is … this picture is so beautiful … so holy … and mysterious. I guess I can finally get cool points !!! Seriously how beautiful is this !!!”

She also tagged Kate Hudson in the post, who dropped “❤️✨” emojis in the caption. The simple emoji comment got over 1,500 likes and hundreds of comments from concerned fans asking if Britney is okay. The pop star has been posting, deleting, and reposting a lot of old content lately, leading fans to speculate that she might not really be as free as she seems to be, even though her controversial conservatorship ended over a year ago.

“@katehudson how are you ok with this and not think that @britneyspears reposting your vacation pics is not at all weird and crazy. So weird!” one fan commented. “Any publicity is better than no publicity when you are no longer relevant. This gets weirder by the day it really does,” another user added.

Another fan wrote, “An upgrade from strange nude photos and repetitive dance moves is an understatement,” which sparked a fiery debate in the comments. “The fact that posting random photos of Kate Hudson, a celebrity Britney has explained she barely knows but met once, on vacation with her family and then commenting that said random pictures are so cool they practically give her an out of body experience is considered an ‘upgrade’ is all you need to know about the state of Britney’s mental health,” another follower commented.

“Isn’t it odd that she takes Kate Hudson’s content but doesn’t ‘like’ any of her actual posts?” another user asked. “She follows 48 people but has zero interactions with anyone, including her own husband who just posted a wedding pic of them.” Her husband, Iranian actor Sam Asghari, often comments on Britney’s posts, but it doesn’t seem that Britney interacts with anyone on Instagram.

Other followers encouraged Britney to go out and take her own pictures. “Why you only looking at pics…. You’re a millionaire and free! go and see these beautiful buildings yourself and create your own memories!” one fan urged. “You should go and post your own pictures from there,” another follower shared.

“Please go live and tell us youre okay. We havent seen any recent thing in a while since the wedding. Youre posting on IG yet want privacy. Its concerning and we all feel the account is controlled again. If you post a recent picture or go live for once, just saying youre okay it would be helpful and reassuring,” another fan chimed in.

Britney's June wedding was a star-studded affair, attended by stars like Paris Hilton, Madonna, Drew Barrymore, and Selena Gomez. Many fans are begging her famous friends to check on her, with one fan writing, "Someone please check on Britney. The last 2 pics have a copyright seal. Those pictures were grabbed from google. Someone do a welfare check on her."
