Lil' Kim Once Got A $250K Gift That Caught The Attention Of The Police

People always want to get the best gifts either on their birthdays, marriage anniversaries or any other event worth getting a gift. Sometimes, people are often conflicted about the kind of gifts they want to give because they have no idea how the receiver will react. This is the normal feeling anyone giving out a gift has, especially when the person you want to give it to, is a celebrity.

Celebrities get expensive gifts all the time and sometimes it is hard to keep track.

Well, in some cases, fans and cops can keep track of some gifts. Lil' Kim once got a received a gift that was worth $250k and this led the men in uniform to her house. Not only that, the rapper's gift led to a theft case that eventually resulted in the arrest of the perpetrator.

With the kind of lifestyle that Kim leads, everything and anything has to be expensive and of top-notch quality. Usually, it doesn't matter how much these items cost, as long as they are flashy.

With her new fame and wealth, Kim can afford anything she wants and when she wants it too. So anyone who ever thought or thinks of giving her a gift has to know exactly what she will be thrilled about.

The rapper was gifted a Bentley Continental GT that comes with a V12 engine. From the name alone, anyone would know that Kim got herself a giant and muscular car with all sorts of amenities inside it. The car was purchased at $250k and thankfully, Kim did not even have to write a check.

The rapper said that she was definitely excited to own such a beautiful and expensive car that came from from producer, Scott Storch. According to the tabloids, Storch had the habit of buying muscular cars like that and beautifying his home.

However, Storch may have missed the memo that says; car payments are very important because they attract the cops. Unfortunately for Kim, she got a visit from the repo driver, demanding payments for the car; a gift she thought had been settled already.

Kim tried to plead with the repo man, saying that there had to be a misunderstanding, but it was taken away eventually.

Finally, Kim found out that Storch had set her up with the car, as he was already owing $85,000 in lease and refused to pay. Instead of giving the car back and asking for a settlement, he decided to put the trouble in the hands of Kim.

After a while, Storch was slammed with an auto theft lawsuit and Kim learned that not all gifts comes from people's hearts.
