Since the news hit the internet, fans have been going wild and they are sending their love and support to the actress. This awesome news is coming at the right time as Schroeder was recently fired from a reality show titled “Vanderpump Rules.”
According to the reports from a few days ago, news of Schroeder indulging some racially insensitive actions was revealed the network decided that they did not want her to work with them anymore. It would have no doubt been hurtful to let one of their most talented cast out, but the decision had already been made.
Aside from Schroeder, other cast members like; Max Boyens and Kristen Doute were also fired. Here’s why!
Faith Stowers, a one time cast of “VPR” opened up about how Schroeder and Doute called the cops to arrest her for a crime they knew she had not committed.
Stowers went on to say that an article was posted during that time, stating that an African-American woman had allegedly stolen an item and the cops needed any information from anyone willing to come forward.
When Doute and Schroeder read this article, they immediately thought that Stowers looked that the black suspect from the article, hence, they called the cops on her.
Since this dreadful news came out, a lot of brands and sponsors have refused to continue their partnership with the actress. According to Page six, brands like, Next Level Basic, UTA, Billie and so on have discontinued their relationship with Schroeder.
On the other hand, Schroeder and Doute have each taken responsibility for their actions that was totally uncalled for.
“My emotions over something that happened between our friends outweighed my logic and there is no excuse for that. What I did to Faith was wrong. I apologize and I do not expect forgiveness.” Schroeder said on Instagram.
Doute also put out a public apology for her behavior to Faith and fans weighed in on it.
“Although my actions were not racially driven, I am now completely aware of how my privilege blinded me from the reality of law enforcement’s treatment of the black community and how dangerous my actions would have been to her. I’m ashamed, embarrassed and incredibly sorry. I will do better. I have to do better.” Doute wrote.
