“Vanderpump Rules” star Brittany Cartwright has another stress on her plate. Her mom, Sherri Cartwright, is reportedly in an intensive care unit following a string of surgeries earlier this month. The Bravo personality leaned of her followers, asking them to keep her mom in their prayers. While she’s kept quiet about her husband Jax Taylor‘s future with the network, she broke her social media silence to post a sweet photo of her mother asking for everyone to send her good vibes.
Taking to her Instagram Story on Friday, June 12, Brittany Cartwright’s mom posed alongside a horse and smiled big just like her daughter does. “Please keep my beautiful mom in your prayers,” she captioned the photo while adding a red heart emoji. The 31-year-old did not elaborate on her mom’s status. Kentucky pastor Ryan Dotson, who was originally scheduled to officiate Brittany and Jax’s wedding, shared the news about Sherri on his official Facebook page this week.

Revealing that things are “uncertain” for Brittany Cartwright’s mom, Dotson wrote, “I would like to ask all my friends to please pray for my friend and church member Sherri Turner Cartwright. She had to have an emergency surgery after having a scheduled procedure that went bad. She’s in ICU and things are uncertain, so please join us in prayer for Sherri and believe God for her full recovery.”
Fans will remember that Jax and Brittany got ripped a new one when it was revealed that Dotson made homophobic comments in the past.
This is one of the examples why “Vanderpump Rules” viewers want him gone from the show. After it was announced that Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute were fired from “Pump Rules” earlier this week after a racist incident against their former co-star Faith Stowers came to light, fans immediately demanded the network take care of Jax Taylor next. Brittany isn’t safe either after Faith claimed that Cartwright once called her a “nappy-headed ho.” While Brittany has denied the accusation, Stowers doubled down, calling her a liar.
