Charli Burnett is opening up about the treatment she received from her former "Vanderpump Rules" co-stars, Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute, during filming on the show last season after being added as a new cast member working at SUR Restaurant in summer 2019.
During a June 10 appearance on the Behind The Velvet Rope With David Yontef podcast, via The Sun, Charli compared the Bravo reality series to "Game of Thrones" and said she did her best to establish friendships with her cast mates.

"I have tried with these people. I have gone up to them and said 'Hi,'" Charli said.
Unfortunately, the original cast members of the series were far from welcoming and eventually, after trying multiple times, Charli gave up on the idea of establishing friendships with them.
"When you go up to someone two or three times and they don't even acknowledge you, let alone even put their hand out or even turn their back on you... Its kinds of like, 'Oh ok, you aren’t even gonna try anymore,'" she reasoned.

"They refused to even act like I am a human if I were filming with them. It was defeating,” Charli admitted.
During one particular encounter with Stassi, Charli said she felt she was being nice to her only because she felt obligated to do so.
"I felt like she had to say 'Hi' because everyone was outside, and she didn’t want to look bad...," Charli noted.
As for Kristen, Charli thought they were on good terms up until recently.
"I just found out [Kristen] hates me - I thought she liked me - everyone banished her but I am not a follower... I went to her James Mae event, and we followed each other," Charli revealed.

According to Charli, she heard Kristen blast her on Scheana's podcast.
"When it came out I was so confused - for someone so much older than me - the way they all handled things - who is the adult here? They went on Twitter rants... and were basically bashing me," she explained.
"At the end of the day I get it it's their show... I was 24 at the time a young girl who wanted an opportunity.... All these people are so much older than me," she continued. "For them to treat me like that... I was just over it. ”

"[Lisa] had an intense talk while the cameras were rolling she said, and I don't think it will be aired, 'I don't give a f*** about the cameras. I asked you to work here. I asked you to be on the show. I don't care what other people think. They don't have to like you... I do,'" Charli recalled.
"Then I went to work my shift and said I am gonna stay here... I can be the worst person on the show I am going to complete this task I a going to see this through,” Charli shared.
