The Royal Family have been known to buy each other some really expensive and lavish gifts throughout the year. Although they are not big on buying each other gifts during Christmas time, they buy their family members gifts during other times of the year and a lot of the time they buy someone in their family gifts just because they want to. So, it really doesn't have to be a special occasion for them to buy someone they love a gift. They just want to show their love and appreciation for those they are close to in life.

Although Kate Middleton is not a blood relative to Prince Charles, she is still family. After all, she married his oldest son, Prince William, in 2011.
Prince Charles welcomed his new daughter-n-law Kate Middleton into the family when she married Prince William by buying her a very expensive and very lavish gift. The gift is so expensive that it made it into Guinness World Records. Prince Charles bought his new daughter-n-law a bottle of perfume that made it into Guinness World Records as the most expensive bottle of perfume ever. The cost? More than $200,000 per bottle! How lavish is that?

He didn't just buy Kate this lavish gift for her wedding but also bought his second daughter-n-law, Meghan Markle, a similar expensive gift for her wedding when she married his youngest son, Prince Harry.
Prince Charles also bought daughter-n-law, Kate, an even more expensive gift as a wedding present. This one came with an even more eye-popping price tag.
Charles bought Kate a jewelry set with white and yellow diamond pieces. This beautiful jewelry set included a bracelet, earrings, and a ring. This gift was so expensive, the bracelet alone cost $190,000!

Kate has been seen wearing the expensive bracelet in public many times. She wore it to the BAFTAs when she attended in 2011. She was also seen wearing it to the premiere of the War Horse in January 2012, when she was also spotted wearing the earrings that came with the bracelet.
She was also seen wearing the ring that was included with the set when she attended the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Gala in October 2013.
This goes to show she appreciates the lovely gifts her father-n-law has brought her.

Prince Charles didn't just spend his money on Kate Middleton, though. When his other daughter-n-law, Meghan Markle, married youngest son, Prince Harry, he showered her with expensive gifts too.
In fact, according to a report by Hello, Prince Charles gave Meghan a similar gift that was almost just expensive. He bought his newest daughter-n-law a diamond tennis bracelet that cost him a whopping $50,000 alone!
Markle has been spotted wearing the expensive diamond tennis bracelet many times at events she attended. She wore it during her overseas tour to Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand. She was also seen wearing it during a garden party for Prince Charles' 70th birthday.
