Ariel Winter Knocks The Paparazzi Dead In Skintight Overalls On L.A. Streets

Ariel Winter had the last laugh as the paparazzi photographed her by trash cans on L.A. streets yesterday. The "Modern Family" actress has a knack for getting snapped near garbage – it's happened before – but as usual, 22-year-old Ariel was knocking the camera dead. This time, in skintight overalls showing off the stunning 30 pounds she dropped in 2019. The outing seeing the sitcom star hit up a Studio City, CA studio also showed her with 25-year-old boyfriend Luke Benward.

Ariel, who recently wrapped up 11 years of "Modern Family," was seen near cars and backed by locked trash cans as she rocked an all-black look. The ABC face had opted for a tight pair of black overalls worn over a likewise black t-shirt, also going biker chick with heavy leather boots with metal buckles. The girl behind Alex Dunphy appeared fresh-faced, with her new strawberry-blonde locks swept back as she held an iced coffee.

Photos are below. Ariel's COVID-19 headlines have been packed, and not just with regards to the sitcom she grew up on ending. The pandemic has seen Ariel forget her pants while grocery shopping, throw beau Luke a drive-by party in a sundress, and drop a sweet $227 on takeout. By far the biggest headline-maker, though, has been the actress accidentally slicing off the tip of her thumb – and throwing it away. Ariel was attempting Greek cooking in lock-down. It did not go to plan. At all.

Ariel told Access Hollywood: "So I went to chop a peeled tomato and sliced the top part of my thumb off on a peeled tomato." Winter then outlined her sheer shock as she said: "I was so shocked. It was more like I was hyperventilating. I was like I should be crying but I just can't believe it."

The ensuing visit to the E.R. also proved unlucky as Ariel was handed the tip: "She actually just gave it to me in a plastic bag and didn't like tell me that it was the tip of my thumb too, so I accidentally threw it away and we had to go get it," the star added. Ariel's Instagram has stayed relatively quiet amid both COVID-19 and the U.S. riots centering around the murder of 46-year-old black man George Floyd. Ariel has not, however, stayed silent amid Black Lives Matter, going dark for #BlackoutTuesday earlier this month. As to the rest of the photos, they've been showing off the stunner's strawberry-blonde locks – Ariel personally dubbed the look "strawberry and shortcake" earlier this year as she asked her 4.3 million Instagram followers for nicknames.
