Lindsay Lohan has sparked concern over what viewers have dubbed to be "bruises" on the 33-year-old actress' legs. Lindsay made headlines over the weekend for posting a stunning and rare selfie from her Dubai home – the "Mean Girls" actress whose Instagram recently underwent a deleting spree popped up in a low-key photo showing a yoga-centric start to the day. As The Blast reported, comments within the photo's first hour were mostly positive – Lindsay was called a "solid 9.5." The selfie, having since gone viral, has been bringing out other responses.

Lindsay's photo showed her barefoot, bare-faced, and beautiful as she stood in front of a mirror. The"Xanax" singer and "Masked Singer Australia" judge was seen in a tight pair of white bike shorts and a matching sports bra, keeping it simple as she snapped herself with a neutral-yet-positive vibe, also raising one foot slightly to enhance the leggy effect. Likewise fuss-free was the star's caption.

"Starting the day with yoga ?," it read. Scroll for the comments, back-up, and Lindsay's Dubai COVID photo.

The photo, now shared to nearly every media outlet reporting celebrity news, made its way over to The Daily Mail. Here, a handy green upvote and red downvote system drive comments up and down. "What's up with the bruises on her legs?" a user asked, with over 40 others agreeing. Meanwhile, over 100 users upvoted a comment reading: "Still in Dubai, still has those bruised legs."

Lindsay's skin, known for its porcelain hue and trademark attractive freckles, may well see the latter be mistaken for bruises. That seemed to be the opinion over on her Instagram.

Lindsay's post – hugely popular and sitting at over 185,000 likes since going live on Sunday – did bring in similar queries. "#LindsayLohan What's wrong with your legs?" one fan asked. "YES, THE KNEES NEED SOME EXPLANATION," a user replied, seemingly needing caps.

Lindsay's fans, who might complain that her music releases come too slowly, are nonetheless supportive – for the most part. "It's freckles," one fan replied. But others weren't so sure. "I know, right? That's the first thing In noticed. Are those bruises? Scars?" they wrote.

Lindsay, whose Instagram is followed by 8.5 million, has been keeping fans updated on her in life in Dubai overall. In particular, amid the COVID-19 pandemic. The star does have fans expecting a return to the U.S. – her 2020 New Year's Resolution to Andy Cohen was to resume acting and being Stateside, although the pandemic sees her stuck in the UAE.

April saw Lindsay thanking first responders out there as she posed by a police car and in a face mask, writing: "@uaegov @dubaipolicehq I wanted to thank the Government of The UAE and The Dubai Police for their continued support during these uncertain times and keeping this Country safe.
