Wedding bells may be ringing in due time for Snoop Dogg's only daughter Cori Broadus as she recently got engaged to her boyfriend of almost three years, Wayne Deuce.
Snoop Dogg could not be happier for his baby girl, whom he shares with his-then high school sweetheart, Shante Taylor, as he took to Instagram to celebrate the joyous news in style.
Snoop Dogg Cheers To Daughter's Recent Engagement With Family
The Grammy nominee was not much for words as he uploaded a single captionless picture showing himself among several people toasting to the engagement at what looked like a party. He could be seen wearing a green long-sleeved vest with a white bucket hat and shades, while those around him wore a mixture of pink and blue outfits.
His daughter, Cori, was also featured in the image, putting on a pink two-piece ensemble and raising a champagne-filled flute-like everyone else in the space. Given the celebrators included in the post and their evident cheers, fans would deduce that Snoop was elated about the engagement even without words expressing so.
In contrast, Cori's announcement post was more explanatory as she posted a carousel of two pictures with the first showing her at the same venue but alone with her beau. While Duece's face was not revealed in the picture, his hand showed, holding his bride-to-be's fingers as she flaunted her engagement ring pretty close to the camera.
In the background, white block letters that read, "Will you marry me?" could be seen alongside matching balloons. And in the next slide, Cori, in her pink outfit, placed one hand on her chest, showing off her newest jewelry.
Both pictures captured the 23-year-old looking beyond excited as she beamed brightly. She then captioned the post, "She's a fiance," and added a ring emoji. The heartwarming update naturally prompted congratulations as fans flooded the comments section, ensuring to add tons of love emojis for the newly engaged.
Cori may be a celebrity kid, but she has also made a name for herself as a talented upcoming music star with a net worth of about $500k. She started dating her man in 2018, but they went public after she posted a picture of them together in mid-2019.
Since then, the duo never got tired of sharing romantic snaps of themselves on their social media feeds almost daily, indicating that their love is still as strong as ever. One such post was a July 2020 picture of Cori cozying up with her sweetheart, which she captioned with a message of affection and appreciation for Duece's support.
The young model is also in the social media spotlight like his babe, as he has over 22.8k Instagram followers and a couple of subscribers on YouTube. Not only is he a model, but he also plans to become an actor, a YouTuber, an investor, and a successful businessman.
In addition, Duece is the creative director of Wayne Bernard Co., where Cori is often used as a model. Plus, they co-own CHOC factory, a beauty, and cosmetics brand. It is no news to fans that Snoop's daughter has struggled with her mental health over the years, but now, she is healing pretty well, all thanks to the unwavering support from her family and partner.
Snoop Dogg Has An Upcoming Biopic In The Works!
While Snoop and his family rejoice in his daughter's engagement, there appears to be more to celebrate as his biopic was recently reported to be coming together at Universal Pictures.
Earlier this month, The Blast reported that the media company announced the new project earlier in November, and it will be directed by legendary filmmaker Allen Hughes and written by "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever's" Joe Robert.
Not to mention, Snoop will be majorly invested in the production, which will feature music from his collection. It will also be produced under his Death Row Pictures flag, which he runs with Sara Ramaker.
The 51-year-old's biopic will certainly be filled with color, beginning from his rise to stardom in the nineties, thanks to his collaborations with Dr. Dre and his ensuing albums "Doggystyle" and "The Doggfather."
And it appears to be in the best hands as Universal Pictures has had success with such projects while filmmaker Hughes has reputable experience in the Hollywood industry.
