It would make sense for Bertinelli to reflect on the concept of feeling grateful; the star’s divorce from her husband of over a decade, Tom Vitale, was recently finalized.
The Blast shared Bertinelli’s thoughts on reaching this personal milestone.
According to our report, the former couple went through a “lengthy” divorce which involved “several months of hashing it out in court.”
Once the process came to an end, Bertinelli took to her social media to share her elation with her followers. In a short clip filmed on November 22nd, she revealed “On 11/22/22, I am officially f**king divorced, happily divorced! Finally. It’s finally over! Yes!”
Bertinelli was forced to endure the resurfacing of a complicated situation involving former “Friends” star Matthew Perry, following the release of his highly-anticipated memoir earlier this month.
An excerpt of Perry’s anecdote involving his former “Sydney” co-star began circulating online prior to his memoir’s release. In it, Perry shares he and Bertinelli made out while her husband at the time, Van Halen, had been passed out following a bout of over-indulgence. Perry also admitted to being in love with Bertinelli at the time.
In response, Bertinelli took to TikTok, posting a video revealing her mortification over certain decisions she made as a young adult; she did not address the situation directly. Taylor Swift’s recent hit “Anti-Hero” plays in the background of the clip as well.
Bertinelli Shares A Quote On Social Media Via A Fellow ‘Grateful Guru!’

Bertinelli has been equally transparent about a certain method she uses to tune out all of the external noise amid difficult moments and chapters in her life.
Last year, she got real in an Instagram video as she discussed feeling grateful in relation to her longtime public struggles with her appearance and body image; a journey Bertinelli has dedicated two books to chronicling.
“We can all give ourselves permission to feel joy, be intentional about it, and remember to be grateful,” she said in the video. “I am grateful even through all of the mess. ‘Cause there’s still good in all the mess.” (via People Magazine)
Bertinelli’s ongoing quest to eternally feel and find elements to be grateful for in her life is an act that also continues behind-the-scenes.
The actress and author took to her Instagram story on Sunday morning to share a quote about feeling grateful, just a few days after many Americans collectively reflected on feeling grateful.
Oprah Winfrey’s Oprah’s Book Club Instagram account shared an inspirational quote from Henry David Thoreau.
“I am grateful for what I am and have,” the quote begins, “My thanksgiving is perpetual.”
