Elon Musk is pretty smart but sometimes his common sense is the thing that impresses people.

The CEO of Space X put out some tweets on Saturday that he said would “probably get him in trouble.” Musk pointed out that he thinks it’s absurd that numerous people are still in prison for marijuana-related crimes. His common-sense approach to the problem earned him a special shout out from his pal, Joe Rogan.

"This will probably get me into trouble, but I feel I have to say it,” Elon tweeted.

He continued, “Selling weed literally went from major felony to essential business (open during pandemic) in much of America & yet many are still in prison. Doesn’t make sense, isn’t right.”

Musk’s high-level thinking prompted Rogan to second the CEO’s statement and share it with his millions of fans.

”Elon is right,” Joe simply captioned his post.

Rogan wasn’t the only one that concurred with Musk and many others sounded off.

”Elon for president,” a follower commented, while another said, “Not sure why it would be the government’s business in the first place if an adult decides to smoke a plant.”

Elon’s thoughts about those incarcerated over weed crimes are a lot less confusing than the name of his newborn baby boy. His girlfriend, Grimes just gave birth to a baby boy. Shortly after the birth, Musk revealed the name to be X Æ A-12.

Grimes later explained the meaning of the unique name but screwed up the name of Elon’s favorite airplane.

"•X, the unknown variable ⚔️

•Æ, my elven spelling of Ai (love &/or Artificial intelligence)

•A-12 = precursor to SR-17 (our favorite aircraft). No weapons, no defenses, just speed. Great in battle, but non-violent ? + (A=Archangel, my favorite song) (⚔️? metal rat)," the Canadian singer explained.

Musk couldn’t help but correct her on Twitter. Responding to her original "SR-17" tweet, Elon was quick to point out, "SR-71, but yes."

"I am recovering from surgery and barely alive so may my typos b forgiven but, damnit. That was meant to be profound ?," she wrote.

The official birth certificate state that baby Ash’s name is legally X AE A-XII but let us break it down for you. "X" and his middle name is "AE A-Xll." Of course, the last name is Musk and that name alone is probably able to get you very far despite what your first and middle names are.
