'RHOBH' Star Dorit Kemsley Slammed For Flaunting 'White Privilege' In Chanel Selfie

Dorit Kemsley is being raked over the coals by angry fans who say she's flaunting her wealth at an "inappropriate" time. "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star is being labeled "tone-deaf" after posting two mirror selfies showing herself dressed in head to toe Chanel. Sporting the all-white look wearing the tight designer dress that hugged her curves, the Bravo personality bared her bra and underwear in the see-through long-sleeved outfit. The mom of two paired the high-fashion outfit with gold jewels.
Flaunting her giant diamond wedding ring, Dorit Kemsley showed off the look she wore to Kyle Richards' backyard barbeque in this week's "RHOBH" episode. This is something she does often, but as some followers pointed out, she should have given it a break this week considering the climate. While several of her fans were in awe over her Chanel fit, not everyone was impressed and made it clear in the comments.

"Kind of inappropriate to post this these days," one person warned. "If you don't have anything to contribute to the cause than maybe just don't post anything."
Another person mirrored the commenter's opinion. "Totally agree, I love the real housewives franchise but I feel when you are as privileged as @doritkemsley to have the platform that she does, it's really important to sense the current tone of what is happening and use your platform appropriately." That follower wasn't done going in on the housewife.
Adding that it's "not really the time to be posting selfies in Chanel," the follower added, "Disappointed to say the least." But not everyone felt that way. One fan made it clear that they disagreed with both comments. "Not EVERYTHING people post right now has and must be related," the person stated. "People need to be able to live their lives too.. people can still fight for the cause and be supportive and post other things about their lives too. It's a balance and just living life."
Dorit Kemsley isn't the only "RHOBH" star that's found themselves catching heat over their recent Instagram posts. Fellow housewife Erika Jayne was slammed after posting a sexy snap where she was the central focus. Dressing her hourglass curves in all leopard print, several Bravo fans were left shaking their heads over the pic. Many suggested it was a direct shot at frenemy Denise Richards, while others warned Erika Jayne that it wasn't "a good time" to post the hypersexual snap.
