Forbes reports that Taylor Swift has already raked in $63.5 million this year. This places her at #25 on the Celebrity 100 list, meaning she really doesn't "need" a roommate.

Swift, 30, kept an elite "squad" of famous friends a few years back, most of which were Victoria's Secret models. One of these gorgeous women revealed on Wednesday that she'd previously moved into one of Swift's east coast homes.

Over on the west coast (and at the same time), it appears Swift might've had another roommate from the runway.

Some allege they might've even been more than just friends.

The June 3rd Variety centered about British model Cara Delevingne.

Bustle believes their friendship began when Swift performed on the "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" in 2013.

Delevingne and fellow London native Lily Donaldson were first featured in the show's opening segment (titled "British Invasion"), and both would eventually become members of Swift's "squad."

In an email, Swift described Delevingne as being "extreme, eccentric, hilarious, loving and deeply loyal."

"She’s an explorer by nature and is always on the hunt for the next adventure, which makes it a wild ride being her friend. You legitimately never know where the night will take you when she’s around."

"But while she’s spirited and outgoing," Swift continued, "she’s also the person you’ll find in the corner of a party talking to someone she’s just met for hours, just because they’re going through a rough time. She’s deeply curious about others and profoundly sensitive."

"It’s that mixture of curiosity and sensitivity that I think makes her such a natural at becoming someone else on camera."

In recent months, Delevingne has been actively assisting with mental health awareness, aiding the COVID-19 pandemic, and supporting the Black Lives Matter movement. The Variety sit-down was the first time Delevingne has formally identified herself as pansexual, but she's always advocated for LBGTQAI+ equality.

Ahead of Swift's earlier quote, Variety wrote:

"Delevingne says she once moved in with for a summer in New York on a whim."

It's unclear which New York summer this happened. But in summer 2014, the Daily Mail reported that supermodel Karlie Kloss had moved into the pop star's house in Beverly Hills. Their story was quietly taken offline, but not before the NY Daily News got ahold of it:

"The story also claimed that Taylor wanted a roommate to keep her company and Kloss 'jumped at the chance' to stay with her pal. The Mail also proclaimed, 'They do everything together, from visits to the gym to going on road trips.'"

NY Daily News asked the Daily Mail why they deleted the August 2014 article. The Daily Mail said they regularly published stories from their sister site MailOnline, but MailOnline had asked them to remove it.

"[MailOnline] asked us to take the story down, which we did," NY Daily News said at the time.

"But they still wouldn't explain exactly why. Swift's rep did not return a request for comment."

Fast-forward four months (to December 2014), when the leggy pair's fast friendship escalates itself into romance rumors.

Kloss and Swift had the same haircut, traded clothes often, and loved to hold hands in public. But that wasn't what started all this.

The fire was fueled when a grainy video emerged of them supposedly making out while watching English rock band The 1975 in concert.

Swift's PR squashed the story almost immediately, but the "Kaylor" theory never really died. It actually gained traction again less than a year ago as a result of Swift's latest music drop.

Most will tell you her 2019 album "Lover" was inspired by longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn, but another camp believes it's about her hush-hush relationship with covergirl Kloss.

Speaking of longtime boyfriends: Kloss had one too, and he's now her husband. She married investor/businessman Joshua Kushner in October 2018 after six years of dating.

If that name sounds familiar, it probably is. Joshua Kushner is the brother of Jared Kushner, Senior Advisor to President Trump. Karlie and Josh have made it very clear that their views and his family's views are very different.

They are also very much in love, and Swift herself said she did not date Kloss. But in Cosmopolitan's words, "LGBTQ+ fans are not going to disembark the Kaylor ship anytime soon."
