Angela Simmons' latest yoga session attempted to bring a little peace during the greatest unrest the U.S. has seen in years. The 32-year-old reality star and Simmons Beauty founder has spent much of the past week dedicating her Instagram, followed by 6.6 million, to #BlackLivesMatter in the wake of 46-year-old black man George Floyd's murder. Angela's Thursday sweat session mentioned "these times." It also proved well-received. The "Growing Up Hip-Hop" star also used her Built Not Bought hashtag – scroll for the video, plus what #BnB is about.

The daughter to rapper Rev Run – clocking herself over 46,000 views in under four hours – was seen on grass amid stacked stone and busting out her flexible moves on an orange yoga mat. Angela was seen in a downward dog amid other stretches, with warrior poses also channeling the star's love of the gentle exercise. A simple wardrobe saw the Purpose App founder in tight blue leggings, a light sports bra, plus a yellow-green waist-wrapped band.

A caption from Angela kept things sober as the U.S. faces its fight against racism and police brutality, with Angela herself raising a black family. "Keeping my mind sane and calm during these times . Through yoga , prayer , mediation... Whats your go to ? Mental health is so important I can’t stress it enough ?♀️?♥️ #BnB," she wrote.
Instagram, quick to criticize celebrities for posting anything but informative #BLM or voting content these days, had nothing but good words for Angela. "So true," one fan wrote, with another simply saying: "Facts."

Angela has been using her platform to promote her appearance on a fundraising marathon contributing towards summer jobs for youth. Her post yesterday invited fans to join her in the "24-hour LIVE fundraising marathon" hosted by Erica Ford. This follows a "Things to remember today" post captioned: "Don’t stop sharing what’s going on . Let’s help educate and inform each other.. Now that we all have each others attention .
