Tekashi 6ix9ine has pushed back the release of his new music, telling his fans it's just not the right time to do it -- and wants to 'respect' what is going on in this country in the wake of George Floyd's murder.
Tekashi 69 announced the postponement of his new music video on Instagram, along with a message explaining the reason for his decision.
"Music video will be pushed back again to June 12th. Out of respect for what we are going through right now," the rainbow rapper posted.

"It’s not the time for a music video right now with everything going on in the world. It will be extremely selfish."
But, the 'Gooba' rapper did say he will be releasing the new music video next Friday, June 12.
Almost immediately, a few of his followers asked him to address the situation which, as we reported, he claims he cannot do because of his current legal situation.
"You wanna elaborate on “what we’re going through”????" one person wrote.
A few others had an idea for Tekashi to truly support the black community and combat police brutality. One fan wrote, "Donate all the profit to black lives matter movement ✊?✊?."
Most fans appreciated his decision, flooding his IG page with messages like this, "Facts! It shows how mature you have become and the values and morals you possess. Good call brother! Bless ???"
As we reported, Tekashi 6ix9ine claims he CAN'T make any other statements regarding the murder of George Floyd, including speaking about the police officers.
In a video, posted on Instagram, "I want to start out this video by saying that I see what i going on globally, and I see the outrage, I see the chaos. I know everyone knows my situation I'm still not a free man, I'm home under supervised release."
He continued...
"I can't speak on certain topics, but I want to do and what I am going to do is send out my deepest condolences to the Floyd family."
It appeared Tekashi was trying to convey the message, that after working with prosecutors and police in convicting other Blood gang members, he is not allowed to speak badly about them.
"Unfortunately when stuff like this happens and in the situation I'm in right now, not being able to speak on certain topics the best thing I can say is let's stick together. The way we been doing. Again, my deepest condolences," he said.
