17-Year-Old Bhad Bhabie Enters Rehab For Prescription Pills: 'Promised To Return Better'

17-year-old rapper Bhad Bhabie's team has confirmed that the star has checked into rehab.

The artist, real name Danielle Bregoli, rose to fame by appearing on the "Dr. Phil" show for being an out of control child. She quickly gained popularity because of her catchphrase, "Catch me ousside, how bout dat!" The young star managed to turn her popularity into a budding music career and racked up over 18-million followers on Instagram. Now she has checked into a facility to deal with her demons and better herself.

She entered rehab to fight a prescription pill problem and to deal with trauma from her childhood, according to TMZ. Her team confirmed that she has been receiving treatment in a facility but didn't state the reason. They posted a note on the star's Instagram for her millions of fans to see.

"Danielle has been working hard for the past few years and made a positive decision to take some much-needed time off to attend to some personal issues. For past weeks, she has been in a treatment center receiving and continuing to receive professional support. She loves her fans, and has promised to return better, and healthier than ever," her team's not read. "Please respect her and her families privacy at this time."

Bregoli received some harsh backlash for not speaking up about the murder of George Floyd.

"Bad bhabie lil chickenhead a** been silent, too. we really ain’t caught her outside not once. hmm," a fellow female rapper noted last week.

We now know that while the demand for justice was going on across the country, she was unable to comment or have access to her phone. However, a blacked-out image was shared to her account in support of #blackedoutTuesday.

She may be in rehab but just before she checked herself in, she released a new music video for her song, "That's What I Said." The 17-year-old touted the video by saying it was entirely filmed while maintaining social distance safety precautions. In fact, to make the video appear busier, she cloned herself a few times so four versions of her could be seen on the screen at one time.

"I cloned myself and made 4 of me to piss off 4 times more people," she joked on social media when the video was released at the end of April.

Bhad Bhabie was just 13-years-old when she appeared on the now infamous 2016 "Dr. Phil" episode. She appeared with her mother that claimed she was "ungovernable" and "out of control." Little did she know that the wild episode would lead to a music career and a huge online following.

"I steal cars, I steal her credit card. I ain't gonna lie," she told Dr. Phil.

When the audience expressed their disgust with her behavior, that's when she hit them with her catchphrase. "Catch me ousside, how bout day!"
