Did ‘Bachelorette’ Becca Kufrin & Garrett Yrigoyen Split Up?

Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph shocked fans when they announced their split on Friday.

Shortly after, rumors started swirling that former “Bachelorette” Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yrigoyen had called it quits.

But, it looks like those rumors were just rumors. On Sunday, May 31st, Kufrin set the record straight with an Instagram story.

She wrote, “According to social media, @gy_yrigoyen and I broke up because he was gone fishing over the weekend,” with a photo of her and Yrigoyen cuddling in bed with their dog.

Kufrin and Yrigoyen got engaged in 2018, during the final episode of Season 14. Kufrin accepted his proposal and ended her relationship with the runner-up, Blake Horstmann.

Since then, their relationship has only got better. The two even moved in together and currently reside in Carlsbad, California.

When discussing their move with Us Weekly, Kufrin said, “We love it. We do."

“We’ve been traveling quite a bit. It took a while for me to feel like this is home, but I’m finally getting settled and we just added a dog. So it’s finally starting to feel like home," she added.

Before Yrigoyen, Kufrin lived on her own. So naturally, it's been somewhat of an adjustment.

“I went from living on my own and being used to being very independent and doing things on my own terms at all times, so it’s different. I mean, we luckily have our own bathrooms, which is key I think. I’m not gonna lie. It’s very key. But it’s been good. He’s so easy to live with, he’s very easygoing, he’s super clean. The only thing is that he snores and he leaves paper towels around," Kufrin explained.

And while the duo seems happy together, it doesn’t look like the two will be getting married anytime soon.

Last year, Kufrin explained their decision to wait saying, “We’ve had so many family members get married. Like my sister, and his brother just got married in the past year and had babies and my cousins and some of his best friends are getting married."

“I’m like, ‘Let’s get ideas from them, let’s let them have their moment and then eventually once we’re ready and fully settled [we can begin planning our wedding],’” she said.

Kufrin got the lead role on “The Bachelorette" after competing on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of “The Bachelor.”

Luyendyk Jr. proposed to Kufrin at the end of the season, before he quickly ended the engagement so he could date his runner-up, Lauren Burnham.

Burnham and Luyendyk Jr. got married in January 2019 and welcomed a daughter, Alessi Ren.

The other day, Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham announced they suffered a miscarriage.

“It’s been a roller coaster of emotions going from scared at first a little bit because it was so soon, then happy, then stress and worry for weeks on end, and then obviously today was the bad news,” Luyendyk Jr. said. “It’s consumed our thoughts for the last month. It’s been hard holding this back from everybody.”
