Lea Michele took time out of preparing for motherhood to show support to the Black Lives Matter movement on Twitter. The NY Times best-selling author wrote, “George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter.” The tweet was met with harsh response by some of her “Glee” co-stars who claimed that the mom-to-be is one to talk after how she treated several cast members on set. First up was actress Samantha Ware who joined the cast in 2015 for its final season.

Ware wrote a tweet insinuating that Lea treated her horrifically her entire time on the show. “LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISON GIG A LIVING HELL?!?!” Ware’s tweet felt like she was screaming from the rooftops. “CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD “SHIT IN MY WIG!” AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD...”These are salacious accusations that were backed up by a few other co-stars.

The tweet was powerful and sparked a few people to speak up like Yvette Nicole Brown who stated, “I felt every one of those capital letters” and Alex Newell a “Glee” cast member who joined the show in season four playing a character named Unique. The tweet that echoed Ware’s and Brown’s stated, “Felt like claps!!”. It was followed up by some pretty funny memes like RuPaul looking through binoculars you know, just making sure no tea was missed. The singer went on to share a longer tweet in support of Ware.

“I’m gonna say this one time... when my friends goes through something traumatic I also go through it...” she shared. “That’s what friendship is... and if you can’t understand that then you’re part of the problem... and that’s on PERIODT! And I mean that for both sides of this coin!” Amber Riley also stepped into the conversation with a meme of herself raising her hand as if she too had a horrible experience with Lea. She did not say anything scathing but the insinuation had fans on the edge of their seat hoping to hear the juicy details.

This is not the first time a co-star has spoken up against Lea. The actress was singled out by Naya Rivera in her 2016 memoir “Sorry, Not Sorry” where she called out Lea for not only treating her poorly but almost going out of her way to make sure her time on the show wasn’t the greatest. “I think Rachel – erm, I mean Lea – didn't like sharing the spotlight,” wrote Rivera. “If I'd complained about anyone or anything, she'd assumed I was bitching about her. Soon, she started to ignore me, and eventually, it got to the point where she didn't say a word to me for all of season 6.” Sounds like Me-a, sorry, Lea has a real problem with watching other people succeed. Practice what you preach would be the main point here.
