“Southern Charm” star Kathryn Dennis backed out of her promise to explain alleged racist messages she sent and instead is complaining about her spray tan results.

The 28-year-old reality star appears to be living her best life despite fans calling her a racist. Kathryn posted a ton of videos of her hanging out with her kids, Kensie and Saint.

In one video, Kathryn then jokes around showing off her arm saying, “it is raining, also, the effects of rain on a spray tan that has no sat for six hours.” She then showed off her bikini while she chuckled. Her unbothered attitude may cause fans’ uproar to worsen.

As The Blast previously reported, earlier this month, fans started calling for Bravo to fire Kathryn after direct messages she sent leaked. The messages were a part of a conversation Kathryn was having with a black radio host, Mika Gadsen, over a scheduled “Trump Boat Parade.”

At one point, Kathryn said she wasn’t racist for supporting President Trump and told Mika to stop “Stop using Charleston and ur minority claim as a platform to harass people.”

She then sent a monkey emoji to Mika, which many believe is racist and Kathryn knew what she was doing. Mika released the messages writing, “This is what happens when a Black woman in #Charleston speaks up against white supremacy.”

Kathryn initially issued a half-hearted apology but the calls for her to be removed continued to grow. The “Southern Charm” star then released a longer statement on May 17.

It read, “I use that emoji all the time bc it looks silly and awkward and that’s my baseline. The account was anonymous I didn’t even know who I was messaging??? And now I’ve been labeled all this crazy stuff and it’s just not true. And it’s not fair. And I see now that I’m back on IG that some**** people are thrilled to use this situation to come up on their own. Use for their own benefit.”

Kathryn ended, “But I’m not gonna let that happen. Never have never will. I’m making a full statement tomorrow but I had to respond bc I cannot stand my character being annihilated. Please just be patient and know this shit is just not true.”

Over two weeks have come and gone without any further explanation for her alleged racist message
