Sofia Vergara & Joe Manganiello Are 7 Years Strong — A Look At Their Fairytale Love Story

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello are waxing stronger in love as they reach a marital milestone of seven years!

The “Modern Family” alum and the “Magic Mike” star first met in 2014, and since then, it's been happily ever after.  Celebrating the milestone, the couple reminded their fans of their epic fairytale wedding while writing sweet tributes. 

The actress shared throwback pictures from their 2014 dream wedding on Instagram. From the carousel of photos, the actress wore a glamorous Zuhair Murad Couture gown while the groom donned a black tuxedo. 

A snap captured the sensational moment when both bride and groom exchanged vows in front of a priest. Another photo showed the couple staring lovingly at each other. Elsewhere on the romantic-themed carousel, the happy bride danced to a Spanish song while her friends cheered her on. 

“Love u @joemanganiello ❤️❤️❤️❤️,” the 50-year-old captioned the sweet post. Fans and other celebrities celebrated with the couple as they dropped several lovely comments on the upload. Floral designer Jeff Leatham dropped, “Happy Anniversary!!! Love you both.” 

"Happy anni! Magical night! ❤️," chimed in Justin Mikita, who is married to Vergara's co-star on “Modern Family,” Jesse Tyler Ferguson.

The “Sabotage” actor also marked this milestone on his Instagram page with throwback pictures from their wedding and captioned them, “Seven years ago today.... I love you, Sofia.”

Taking to her Instagram stories to share more memories from their special day, the 50-year-old uploaded a picture of them cutting their five-tiered cake. Alongside the snap, she wrote the number seven on it, signifying the years they’ve been married. 

As for how they spent the anniversary, the model posted an image showing her date outfit. She rocked a black mini-dress that flaunted her impressive curves alongside black tights and completed her look with a white clutch. In the caption, she wrote, “Date night.”

In June, we reported on how the Hollywood heartthrob had charmed his wife. The “Rampage” actor disclosed that he had first met his wife at MTV Music Awards in 2010, but they didn’t have an actual conversation. 

However, that changed when Manganiello sought the help of Ferguson, who did the magic of introducing him to Vergara.

“Jesse Tyler Ferguson [Vergara’s “Modern Family” co-star] brought her over to me and made her say ‘Hi’ to me or something. I was like, ‘Hi,’ you know,” he recounted. “I was like, ‘You know, how’s it going? Like your fiancés over there, what are you doing right now?’ You know?”

At the time, Vergara was in a relationship with businessman Nick Loeb, and the pair were engaged. This prevented Manganiello from shooting his shot immediately. However, to Manganiello’s luck, Loeb and the actress split up, opening a spot for a new guy in Vergara’s life.

Before the news of Vergara’s separation from her ex went viral, former People Magazine editor-in-chief Jess Cagle gave Manganiello the info, which was the exact opportunity he needed to get in her good books fast.

The “True Blood” star finally went on "a great first date" with Vergara, but he had to travel for work. Once that was over, he returned to New Orleans to make a more significant impression on her.

At the time, the Colombia actress made it clear that she wasn’t ready for a relationship, but that didn't stop Manganiello, who brought his A-game to woo her. The handsome actor explained that on their second date, he slid the actress a People’s magazine edition with him on the cover, naming him Hollywood’s Hottest Bachelor in 2014. 

Apparently, this act was enough to convince the actress to be his girlfriend, and they started dating. After dating for six months, the couple decided to take their love to the next level by getting engaged in December 2014. 

Last year, the lovebirds showered each other with love when they celebrated six years of being happily married, They shared never-before-seen snaps from their wedding in Palm Beach, Florida. “
