Bruno Mars, 34, is famous for his love songs. But when it comes to his personal life, the singer doesn’t usually open up. That's why you probably didn’t know he has a girlfriend. And guess what? They’ve been dating for about a decade!
In a 2016 interview with Rolling Stone, Mars revealed a little more about his long-time lady love, Jessica Caban.
Caban, a model and actress, reportedly started dating Mars in 2010. They even share a home together with his Rockweiler.

During the interview, Mars was asked if he was going to make the relationship official, he joked, “Jesus! She’s my best friend. My rock. What’s wrong with that? We’re just happy… Until she reads this.”
Caban has been there since the beginning. The two started dating before his first album was even released.
Before their relationship, Caban was somewhat familiar to the spotlight. In 2002, Jennifer Lopez held a nationwide search to find an up and coming model to be the face of her J.Lo clothing line. Caban competed and placed second.

In 2012, Caban credited J. Lo for helping start her career. "My 1st job modeling was for J. Lo. I couldn't think of a better way to start my career. Thanks, Jennifer!" she tweeted.
Besides modeling, Caban has appeared on the big and little screen. In 2010, she starred in the indie film, “Are You For Great Sex?”
For her role, she won two best actress awards at the Boston International Film Festival and the Hoboken International Film Festival.
Caban has also appeared in several episodes of “Jane the Virgin.”

In 2016, the 37-year-old launched her own swimwear collection called, J. Marie Swimwear.
And while both Caban and Mars are in the public eye, they have relatively normal lives.
“You’re never going to see me Instagramming at a party,” Mars told Rolling Stone. “I don’t take my phone, because I’m going to lose my shit.”
And when it comes to drama, Mars doesn't partake.
"Drama? I thought when we made it, that means we’re drama-free. I don’t play that game. I don’t want to say something stupid and mess this all up," he told the outlet.

You probably won’t hear Mars or Caban publically discussing the other, but they have opened up a couple of times (but only a couple).
In 2018, Mars won Record of the Year for “24K Magic." He'd won the same Grammy award two years before for "Uptown Funk." But this time, while accepting the trophy, he thanked his lady.
“My lady, Jessica, I love you, baby. Thank you for being my rock and being on my side throughout this whole process,” he said.
