Halle Berry Stuns Instagram In Drenched Swimsuit, But Her Caption's Really What Gets Them

Halle Berry soaking-wet and in a swimsuit is always going to go down well. The 53-year-old actress whose rock-hard body underwent three years worth of martial arts training in just six months for "John Wick: Parabellum" is now adored as much for her status as Hollywood's fitness queen as she is for those witty Instagram captions – lounging around in "The Ellen Show" underpants amid COVID-19 saw the actress write: "Waiting for my next nothing appointment."

Today brought Halle in the pool and making a splash – literally.

Halle – currently in lock-down and having made headlines for her cheeky nude Pillow Challenge earlier this year – posted right from sun-drenched pool waters as she took a dip in a strappy black swimsuit. The candid shot showing the "Catwoman" actress mostly submerged and with her eyes hidden by a black, leather, cop-style cap came captioned: "Splash back flashback."

The post wasn't even an hour old before 51-year-old "Friends" alum Jennifer Aniston left a like.

Halle clocked herself a sweet 23,000 likes in under 60 minutes for her post, with the comments section seeing the Re-Spin founder herself even swooping in – she totally surprised the random guy who asked for a birthday shout-out. The user appearing to be named James wrote: "A beautiful photo. Today is my 55 birthday. Can l get a big like please." He more than got it as Halle responded: "Happy birthday James!!"

Comments also took an interesting route with one fan likening Halle to R&B superstar Beyonce – "Dead thought this was Beyonce," they wrote. Scroll for the mind-blowing abs.

Today's caption was more than noticed. "Flash back who’s that! I see what you did there, Lioness ?," one fan wrote. Also not the first time Halle has shaken her 6.2 million followers up – and she's gained over 100,000 followers in under a month.

This is a star who recently told Women's Health that she "threw the kitchen sink" at her core while prepping for upcoming MMA movie "Bruised." Halle sustained injuries during a fight scene that saw her photographed with a swollen eye, although it's more easy-going on IG, where recent posts have seen Halle show off her back workouts, plus the one that made her muscles "pop."
