Jason Oppenheim Says Fans Were Over Christine Quinn's Drama On 'Selling Sunset' 

Real estate mogul, Jason Oppenheim, says fans were getting tired of Christine Quinn long before her exit from "Selling Sunset." Quinn has been a part of the reality show since its first season in 2019; however, she bid her goodbyes to the cast in August this year. The reality star ended her run on the show in season five after a series of issues and accusations.

After leaving the Oppenheim Group and the reality show, Quinn launched a crypto real estate venture named RealOpen with her husband, Christian Richard. She has also appeared in several fashion campaigns, such as the MCM's holiday collection, and released her own book, "How to Be a Boss B*tch."

Months after her departure and with the preparation of "Selling Sunset" season six underway, Oppenheim revealed that he thought it came at a good time.

While talking to Page Six concerning the launch of his 1080 App later this week, the real estate broker made some comments about his Netflix show, "Selling Sunset." During the interview, the attorney claimed that fans of the show had already gotten tired of Quinn before her exit.

Oppenheim claimed that the reality star's penchant for acting as the villain in the docuseries had gotten old after watching it for the past few seasons. "I think people were tired of watching that dynamic continue season after season," he said.

The Oppenheim Group founder also claimed that it gave both the show and the office a better atmosphere. "So I think, if anything, it's provided a breath of fresh air for the office and for the show."

Oppenheim highlighted his job as a "professional real estate broker" and explained that being privy to the constant drama was not something he enjoyed. "It's not the type of drama that I enjoyed being a professional real estate broker," the attorney said.

"I wasn't happy with the types of issues [about Quinn] being brought to my attention. I think it ran its course." Oppenheim further disclosed that he had never had a personal feud with Christine during her time on the show and wished her the best in future endeavors.

"I never had my own personal issues with Christine other than the fact that I recognized that she had a lot of other issues with other cast members," he continued per Page Six. "But I wish her the best, and I know she is doing great things, especially in the fashion space."

Throughout her time on the show, Quinn was in several issues with a number of her cast mates, including Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Rae Young, Chrishell Stause, and recently Emma Hernan. Hernan previously accused the reality star of offering a client $5,000 to stop working with her.

Quinn denied the accusations and left the series earlier this year. Her departure also saw the end of her amazing style onscreen and her witty confessionals in the show. Oppenheim, however, thinks the new season of "Selling Sunset" will do just fine without her.

"I would have liked the drama to have calmed down, but it didn't. It ramped up. It made it a little bit difficult in the office, but I think it probably makes for good TV," he said. "So much real estate, so much interpersonal life experiences, relationships … So, so much drama. It's going to have everything."

The real estate broker did not go into detail concerning the kind of drama to expect in the forthcoming season, but he promised that there would be a lot of drama among the new agents. "We have new agents and new issues between the agents," Oppenheim said. "I'm not going to tell you who's fighting this season, but there is fighting for sure."

Right now, the reality star is putting his efforts into selling his homes via the use of the 1060 app. According to him, the app uses short clips to enable customers to understand their purchases.

"I've been approached by so many different real estate apps, and I've been very particular about putting my personal reputation and my professional reputation behind anything," he said according to Page Six. Oppenheim revealed that he spent a year perfecting the app, and he is sure it would be integral to real estate agents.
