Carmen Electra Reminds Instagram Why Those 'Natural Bubbles' Made It Pepsi

Carmen Electra just reminded Instagram why Pepsi picked her all those years ago. The 48-year-old model and "Baywatch" star whose Pornhub searches sky-rocketed to 1.7 million after the ESPN-aired "The Last Dance" last month updated her account over Memorial Day weekend. It was memories, all right.

Back in 2006, Carmen famously fronted beverage giant Pepsi in an airplane-set photo that came with a winner one-liner. Scroll for the photo, reactions, plus Carmen's headline-making admission that she had "sex all over the Chicago Bulls" court with ex Dennis Rodman.

Pepsi had its best copywriters to hand for this one. Seen below, the photo came with a distinct '90s feel and a slightly grainy finish as it showed Carmen – born Tara Leigh Patrick – seated on a gray-striped airplane seat and looking cheekily to the side as she flaunted her cleavage in a tight pink tank top, also wearing dark pants and peep-toe heels. The empty seat next to Carmen was taken up by a Diet Pepsi can.

Sometimes, Pepsi cans can speak. This one came with text seemingly directed at Carmen, reading: "I've been dying to ask you, are those your natural bubbles?"

A caption from the blonde shouted out Pepsi, since fronted by stars including Beyonce and Cardi B:

"Heyyyyy @pepsi #pepsi #comercial ? grew up drinking it at school & kept on goin ??????? @speakcarmenese," she wrote.

Carmen, who boasts 1.1 million Instagram followers, clocked herself a sweet 10,000+ likes for the post, also bringing in a giant wave of replies. "Is he asking you or, are you asking him ? #muchlove?," one fan wrote.

"You're always welcome to come and share a Pepsi with me anytime you like Carmen," another said.

Carmen was married to 57-year-old NBA star Dennis Rodman for less than a year in the late '90s, with "The Last Dance" seeing the former Chicago Bulls player's love life in the spotlight. Carmen made global headlines for telling LA Times:

"It was crazy, like two kids in a candy store. We were eating Popsicles from the fridge and pretty much having sex all over the damn place—in the physical therapy room, in the weight room. Obviously on the court. ... To be honest, I don’t think he’s ever worked out so hard in his life."

Google searches for Carmen shot up following the documentary that garnered an approximate 12.2 million views for early episodes, with porn giant Pornhub's searches for the star rising from a modest 1,500 per day to 1.7 million. Carmen's Instagram also found itself flooded with mentions of basketball players including NBA icon Michael Jordan – Carmen was asked if she'd ever "bang" the 57-year-old.

"No because he was married with kids & he was close to DR!" she replied.

Carmen's Instagram following may be modest, but her account is kept tabs on by some famous faces. Singer Demi Lovato, DJ Paris Hilton, and rapper Chanel West Coast all follow her.
