Amanda Bynes has been released from a mental health treatment facility after two months, and now says she is ‘doing well’ and head back to fashion school.
The actress posted an update on Instagram, letting everyone know she has been released from the facility and is now staying in a “transitional living” home.
She included a photo of herself inside what looks to be her new home. Yes, she still has the heart face tattoo, and the bullring piercing.
Amanda claims she is headed back to FIDM fashion school and is hoping to get her Bachelor’s degree.
“Update: Getting my Bachelor’s degree from FIDM — Taking online classes, trying to get a 4.0 GPA :] ?” Amanda posted.
She continued, “Looking forward to starting my online store in the future #goals.”
As for mental health treatment, Amanda confirms she, “Spent the last 2 months in treatment. Worked on coping skills to help with my social anxiety that caused me to drop out of school months ago.”
She added, “Back on track and doing well!”
Amanda also shared with fans that she is now living in a group home, saying, “I’m now living in transitional living and doing therapy during the week.”
Interestingly, Amanda pointed out she is still “engaged to tha love of my life Paul ?” but is no longer pregnant with his child.
As we reported, Amanda claimed she was newly pregnant with her first child, after posting a sonogram photo on Instagram and saying the baby was Paul’s child.
Our sources say, Amanda’s parents were very upset by the pregnancy and rushed to court to get the judge in Amanda’s conservatorship case to order her back to a live-in rehab facility.
At the time, they believed Amanda may have been trying to get pregnant, thinking that the situation would help her exit the long-running conservatorship.
We broke the story, if Amanda would have given birth to a child, custody would have immediately been given to her parents and the father of the child — and most likely a very costly child support structure would have been set up.
The good news — It sounds like Bynes is doing well, and she is living in an environment where she can get the help she needs at this point in her life. Also, heading back to fashion school is a great step in the right direction.
“Hope you’re all staying safe! Love y’all! ??” Amanda ended her Instagram post.
