Halle Berry has straight-up admitted that she "threw the kitchen sink" at her abs for upcoming MMA movie "Bruised." The 53-year-old Oscar winner who completed three years worth of martial arts training in just six months for "John Wick: Parabellum" returned to Instagram for #FitnessFriday yesterday – Halle appeared both on her own account and on Women's Health Mag's one, with the magazine carefully profiling the "Catwoman" star's every training move.

Halle didn't even show her face in the photo – seen below. The star had been photographed on a rowing machine and flaunting her insanely-sculpted arms, shoulders, and back as she wore a loose black top and skin-tight yoga pants – visible sweat on the mom of two's arms showed the cardio having been upped, with the gritty gym setting shouting out the MMA scene.
"We could talk about Halle's abs all day," the caption began: "But she's dedicated to being fit from head-to-toe," it continued, then outlining that this week's focus was all things "back."

The caption continued with a quote from Halle – "John Wick: 3" and "Bruised" were both mentioned as Halle said that she needed to "look like a fighter."
"Having strong back muscles feels so good (my posture is better than ever!), but it's also incredibly empowering to have strength that carries over into the rest of my life, allowing me to kick butt on screen and as a mother.”
Halle's commitment for "Bruised" has been so intense, she made headlines earlier this year for a "swollen" eye as she sustained injuries during a fight scene.

COVID-19 has seen plenty of headlines from the Re-Spin founder, including her clapping back at a troll querying the gender-appropriateness of 6-year-old son Maceo clambering around in high heels. Popular have been Halle lounging around in "The Ellen Show" underpants as she "waited for my next nothing appointment," with Halle also warning a "next level delicious" situation as her quarantine cooking showed off her Cheesy Bacon Ranch Chicken.
Halle is, however, Type 1 diabetic, with the auto-immune disease being a life-long one.

Halle now lives a clean-eating lifestyle, one that she's upheld for over 15 years – "After being diagnosed with diabetes at 22, I adopted what I know now was basically a keto diet. My doctors told me I'd have to keep an eye on how I ate to stay healthy, and I took it to heart," she said, adding:
"I wanted to get off of insulin, so I decided to say goodbye to processed carbs and sugar like baked goods and white bread—and it has seriously paid off."
Halle has also fronted media outlets amid the global pandemic for her now-viral Pillow Challenge.
