Kanye West Is A No-Show To Divorce Deposition, Things Could Go To Trial

Kanye West pulled the old “no-call, no-show” in court this week.

The rapper, who recently returned to Twitter, skipped out on his divorce deposition with ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her legal team.

In a new report, the Yeezy designer missed their deposition scheduled on November 16th. He was supposed to get questioned by Kim’s lawyers, but he didn’t show up and his reason for missing it is unknown.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the rapper-turned-fashion designer and Kim will now meet on November 29th at 9:30 AM.

If Kanye decides to pull another no-show, it could mean the divorce deposition goes to trial which is currently set for December 14th.

It’s definitely not a good look for the father-of-four.

He and Kim are still battling over the custody of their children and reach an agreement. If he keeps going at the rate he is, he won’t have a shot at full custody.

Kim’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, wants Kanye’s deposition to figure out the sources of conflict and gather a list of witnesses she wants to call.

In addition to battling over custody, Kim and Kanye still have to figure out the division of assets.

The SKIMs creator filed for divorce from Kanye in February 2021.

Kanye’s ex, Julia Fox, recently explained why she dated him, and the answer is surprising.

On Monday, November 21st, Fox took to TikTok to share some free tea.

“Ok. Since I was just gonna write about it in my book… I’ll just tell you guys for free. First of all, the man was being normal around me and not only that, the Kardashians when I had a fashion line 10 years ago, they actually bought my clothes and sold them in their stores. SO, I’ve always had a love for Kim, especially, even Kourtney, especially. The ‘big three,’ those are my girls,” she said. “So, by the time me and him got together he hadn’t been doing anything like out there yet. But, I remember just being like… he was texting me, I wasn’t really answering. I was like, I don’t really want to hook up with a celebrity again. Like nothing ever comes of it. They’re kind of boring, they’re not what you think they’re gonna be like.”

Fox claimed Kanye was persistent in texting her and even “yelled” at her about her texting etiquette.

“But he kept going and going and he was like, ‘You have bad text etiquette,’ and I was like, ‘Oh my god, Kanye’s yelling at me,’” Fox recalled. “But then I had this thought… I was like, ‘Maybe I can get him off of Kim’s case. I can distract him, just get him to like me.’”

The “Uncut Gems” actress bragged about her abilities to distract Kanye from Kim.

“I knew if anyone could do it, it’s me because when I set my mind to something I do it,” she said. “That month that we were together he wasn’t on Twitter, he wasn’t on any forms of social media. He didn’t even really talk about his relationship. We really only talked about clothes and weird ideas, plans for the future and our hopes and dreams for childhood and education. It was really beautiful guys. The moment he started tweeting, I was out.”

According to Fox, it was her decision to end the relationship; however, she tried to help his mental health before they broke up in February.

“I was delusional, I thought I could help him and now we’re here,” Fox explained.

Kanye recently returned to Twitter after a temporary ban was placed on his account for anti-Semitic comments.

Fox concluded the TikTok noting that she “deeply respects” Kanye as an artist, BUT she stands with the Jewish community, “PERIODT.”
